Nothing will ever top the marine who challenged Gordon to a fight on Hell's Kitchen
Had to go down to one of my field offices to meet the city guys. Had Shake Shack, Double Smokeshack, fries, and a brown sugar shake. I feel like a fatass, but god damn was it good.
Looks like we finally firing this idiot here. Though not sure fire is the right word since he hasn't been in for a couple of weeks and doesn't even return phone/texts much
I wonder how much Ramsay on Hell's Kitchen is really him and how much he puts on for the show. When he is on Master Chef Junior he is so kind and supportive of the kids, and he generally seems like he wants to help on Kitchen Nightmares.
It's admittedly almost all an act nowadays.
Kitchen* Nightmares UK is the best example of his actual tough love.
Yeah it's an act, but i'd kill to have a beer with him and Anthony Bourdain.
Never really watched Hell's Kitchen but after working out of town and staying in some pretty shithole hotels, I kinda enjoy watching Anthony Melchiorri tell people off on Hotel Impossible. It's even more pleasurable when the credits roll and they show a six-month update and the guy in charge has undone everything and ended up filing for bankruptcy.
I love Bourdain. I used to watch all of his shows, reruns or not, whenever I caught them. I'm glad they had some of them on Netflix. I think they dropped The Layover from the line up, but I believe they still have Parts Unknown from CNN on there.
I envy Anthony Bourdain. That dude literally has the best job on this planet. Travel around and get trashed with the locals. His No Reservation Cambodia episode was fucking amazing.
Was that the one where he got the weed pizza?!
On that same token, the show Three Sheets was a cool concept and the wife and I enjoyed all of the episodes we watched.
I wouldn't say it's an act just because he yells more in Hells Kitchen or US shows in general.
Drill Sergeants go home every night and be people too.
I guess. I see the logic behind it but he doesn't act that differently than I do given a situation or role I need to play. I'm usually pretty chill but if you're an idiot I don't tolerate it. At least he's doing it to be a teacher where I'm just being a dick.
Edit: And the people in Hells Kitchen have to be specially selected potatoes because cooking Spaghetti, Lamb, and Risotto isn't exactly fucking hard lol. That and scallions are like all of the recipes I saw the entire fucking time and they failed at it. Pathetic donuts all of them.
