I usually just shave after I get out of a hot shower and the bathroom is still all steamy. If that's not possible, Edge Pro Gel works okay with me.
What guy doesn't shave in the shower?
i don't shave at all anymore, really. just the neck area for special occasions; for normal stuff i just run a clipper over it with no guide. also i'm pretty much at the 2-3 finger rule you described zet. that oil seems fucking expensive as shit. how long would 2 ounces last?
yes it was my first time. she likes my beard. helped her move into her new apartment yesterday, spent the night and all of today with her. she goes back to work tomorrow so might not see her again until friday, but yeah. very excited.
I can't grow a whole beard, my cheeks and jawline are patchy and not suited for it. I do keep a goatee and soul patch though, just out of habit. Everything else just gets shaved in the shower, it's way easier and I have little enough to worry about so it's just part of the routine.
2 oz will last me the better part of 2 months usually. You use a tiny amount every day unless your beard is massive.
Hmm. This is in addition to conditioner? or are they redundant?
might be worth it once my budget recovers from the tux and car maintenance.
Conditioner in the shower, oil after while the beard is still kinda wet.
Soap / conditioner all you need is about the size of a dime. Any more and you're wasting product.
I take it old school, single blade. Don't need multiple blades.
hmm. definitely gonna give that a shot once i can afford it, then.
also, thank you all for all the well wishes. super excited.
i wouldn't. tile around some attachment points or something, then attach the mirror. if you tile the mirror in and it breaks, you're looking at re-doing tilework, not just replacing a mirror.
Riding to work and some guys flag me down. Turns out it's bike to work day. Free muffins and juice ftw. Not really my eating window... but free! Also offered to oil my chain and top of my tires... but slight fail and I actually did that during my lunch break yesterday. Apparently were offering lessons and wanted to talk more about programs... but seeing as I was actually biking to work couldn't hang too long
This was going on at Pleasanton BART and their setup was fucking horrible though. All the commuters trying to get through and all these tables blocking a good chunk of the already congested walkway. I mean it's cool and all but some of us need to get through and not fight the sea of bikers.
Oh yeah they did it just in random parking lots or parks along main roads here. So not really that bad this early
