Was walking my bike as part of my ride to work today and notice this thing piece of metal sticking out. Whelp can't do anything about it at the time so finish ride to work and grab some pliers and pull it out. Turns out was about 1.5 inch of nail stuck in my tire. So was prepared for a shitty walk my bike 5 miles home but just went and checked it and pressure still pretty good. Good thing I upgraded to monster thick tires and thicker tubes that self seal... in fact there was all this white shit on the outside of the tires so I'm thinking it probably did release some self seal crap on the ride.

I love going downtown. They do a decent job of keeping things as clean as you would want in a semi-major city. You can't really go wrong with any of the places in the North Loop or Warehouse District if you're looking for food/drinks/entertainment. You can always drive 20 minutes to the west and purify yourself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka too. St. Paul on the other hand...Navigating downtown really sucks.

Annoyed that I am incapable of having 1-2 drinks with friends. We went out at 8ish with intention of me going home to clean and them going to coffee shop to write (both defend PhD thesis in astrophysics in mid june). End up closing out tabs at 1:30am while discussing scene-meritocratic differences between those who grew up being big fans of Hatebreed vs those who grew up big fans of Pantera.

About this— SB can be useful to get gift cards if you plan long term. They have a few apps that show ad vids on your phone, so you can set up a queue of short videos to play on a loop and get the SB limit for the day, every day for a couple of weeks, and that's an extra $5~$10 in your pocket every other week.

Would recommend you do this on a burner phone though. Don't infect your main phone with trash apps.
