They seem to have filled those positions before I attended the teacher job fair. Otherwise, hell yeah, I'd much rather be teaching. I start a professional development session on July 18th, that's four days paid. Then the school year starts on August 10th for students so I'm assuming I'll be working at least a few days before that (hopefully a full week because I feel like I'm going to need to get a lot of shit together for the year but as soon as I know what grade I'm teaching I'm going to be busting my ass with planning). But yeah, summer school was kind of a bust this year, just too soon after graduation. So I'm scraping along for the moment, but I don't care. Some of my bills are behind right now but everything will be fine in a few months. I'm basically willing to put up with all sorts of stupid shit just to stay afloat long enough to start at the school.
And this belongs more in the fail thread than this one, but call center jobs are absolute fucking bullshit. Holy shit they're easy to get hired on at though.
