She's not as bad as I make her out to be lol. This is actually a huge fucking relief.

Now she can get treatment. I know the feeling of relief. My wife was diagnosed with narcolepsy which is severely under diagnosed and often misdiagnosed as depression, thyroid issues, and other issues. It took us a long time to find a doctor who figured it out. Once she was diagnosed and we got her medication it made a world of difference. Glad you guys figured it out.

It's 50/50. Either you get a doc who asks you the questions and if your IQ is above 2 you can figure out the right answers to give to get the RX and that's that. Or you get someone right out of school (like I just got) who wont give you a rx for basic fucking ritalin after being on meds for god damn 22 years and a consistent diagnosis from every person I've ever seen.

If second give them like a month to change their mind and if they dont, fuck 'em, see someone else.

Same. I'm really starting to wonder how people in office jobs didn't get way more done before the internet. Did they all just play solitaire all the time or actually spend all day bsing with each other cause anytime I do ignore it I make fearful headway... like afraid the boss will see how much I got done and realize I've been slacking lol

She has severe anxiety so she started going to a psychiatrist. The psychiatrist gave her a rundown on a check list for ADD. I read it as well. If you have over 5 of the indicators you're considered ADD. Reading the list I picked out 9 different things that she has occur daily. According to the doc a huge indicator is not being able to talk to someone when there's a bunch of shit going on. So if Noah is running around she stumbles to finish her thought and she literally needs to stop what she's doing and focus only on talking.

The psychiatrist is unable to write prescriptions, so she told the wife to go to her PCP with the checklist and usually they will take care of it.

How far apart are your boys? Ours will be almost exactly 5 years apart. Older's birthday is February 2012 new boy is due January 2017. We wanted less time between them but it took longer than we thought to happen.

I know right? My wife and I just celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary but we have been together for 15 years. Our son is going to be turning 5 already soon... All those things make me feel old but I don't really feel like 34 is that old.

Mine are only 18 months apart. They fight sometimes but they're also really close which is pretty awesome.
