I've seriously never been there. Is it one of those places you buy everything in bulk like at Sam's? Because I've been to Sam's a few times and I end up buying stuff that I can't seem to use before it goes bad. It's just me here, after all. But I guess I could always go there for non-perishable stuff, or at least check it out. There's one not too far from here.

Yeah it's like Sam's but even as a single person you can save a lot of money through it.

For one, at the food court a hotdog + soda is $1.50 and a slice of pizza (huge) is $2.00. So super cheap meals (if the food court is on the outside you don't need a costco card).

Inside you've got a lot of nonperishables that can help you out, and the big thing is they have premade meals that are really good for a good price.

Also, Costco gas is way cheaper than any other place, but you need a card for that.

That Costco pizza is on point! Love the rotisserie chicken there too, the discounts on tvs, the extemely forgiving return policy. The gas prices are the best no doubt, hell even their beer was decent. I don't know how they do it but I hope this company is around forever.

I noticed they started selling brisket bbq sandwiches. You try those?

Yeah costco is awesome and we tend to focus on non perishable items when shopping there. It is really easy to over spend there though because bulk items tend to be minimum $10 an item usually higher so you can blow through $200-300 in a single trip easy if you are not careful.

Though you do save a lot of money on the items you buy. I am so sad the costco where we shop now is an old school one without the gas station.

My local one didn't always have one, but they installed one almost 10 years ago now. Hopefully they do the same to yours. You can find the most amazing and random shit there too. I bought a beautiful desk for $99 with a glass top and I wish now I had bought two of them. They probably won't ever be there again, and also bought my PC chair there for $59. They really are a godsend for other things sometimes.

Single or Family life, I think it's easily the best choice for anyone. I swear I don't work there or anything.

Yall talking about the best store ever? Seriously I'm single and still buy plenty of perishables too just gotta plan it out somewhat. Thiugh some of the stuff is priced such that even if you throw out half and save.

Anyways my win is yesterday surprised the gf by meeting her at the airport and she loved it... twice. Since we were already way over in Sacramento we decided to take a trip to Yosemite. Got a room in a B&B because way too tired last night. Got up early and hiked for like 8 hours. Turns out I'm in much better hiking/climbing shape then I thought. And apparently much better than most the tourist as well as my offtrail excursions often led to exclamations of dismay and being asked if I was a stunt man lol. And I found by only wearing shoes when absolutely needed I was able to somewhat manage my foot/shoes issue to enjoy the hikes and well do those harder offtrail climbs/controled falls

went for a bike ride yesterday. took a wrong turn on purpose just to see what would happen. ended up lost in a suburb for about two hours. it was glorious. I got a little antsy by the end of it, being unsure that I could find my way home, but once I saw the water tower that's by the normal path I take I was like "nah, I'm good." took me a while to make my way over there and I lost sight of it a couple times, but it all worked out.

there's something really freeing about being lost and knowing there's nothing to worry about. kind of like how immersion therapy feels for people with high anxiety, I guess? I really enjoyed that experience. saw so many little places and neighborhoods that I would never have seen otherwise. good times.

GF has alot of 'lemon' car wise

She had an 2007 Hyundai Accent that was a shit car, and Hyundai used her 'naivity' and sold her a new car instead of repairing the new car in warranty
So she had a 2011 Hyundai Accent (7 years financement) that finish in Febuary 2018, and that car started having issues, batteries alternator and etc. and her car cost her like 386$ per month (doe the the old card)

it's not the best, but works for her

Was able to negociate her a Kia Rio LX+ 2016 New, 5 years financement for 270$ per month, and her insuranced dropped by 10$ per month

Amazon - Prime = 20% off new games for two weeks
Best Buy - Gamer's Club Unlocked = 20% off games, generally
Fry's - does 20% coupon on new release games on their release week in an effort to compete with the aforementioned companies

so... those are alternatives (it's about $12 off the usual $60 game)

I wish there was a Fry's close by but either way, no one does it better overall/bottomline than Costco, especially that unparalleled return policy, I think only Amazon could compare but like I said this is all local/in person. I don't know about you, but I would rather not wait 3-5 days or pay for Amazon prime just for my stuff to get here faster.

Don't get me wrong though, love my Amazon. Can't live without that either.

I'm in El Paso. Day 1 of Heather-Go-Home complete. Drove all day, had Raising Cane's, saw a double rainbow, then heavy rain (not the bullshit soft sprinking San Diego gets), lightning, and maybe even little hails, Wyndham for less than $70 ( maybe $60, idr), leftover Cane's, showered, smoked, Conan is on. Happiest I've been this month.

Hell, I thought of more: the ac is good, bed is a king (gonna lay likes a fucking starfish, gonna masturbate (how's that for obnoxious), and there's hot breakfast.

I might even do stretches. It's work but worth it to try and do everyday.

I suppose so - in my case, Fry's doesn't exist, Best buy doesn't offer GCU, Costco barely sells games, Gamestop closed business, and there's an 11.5% tax

amazon ignores that last part, and gets me a 20% on games

amazon is my only source of video games now.

Also, despite my fail post on the other thread, I finally bit the bullet and bought a laptop I've been eyeing for work.
Sure it's a lenovo, but I can always strip the shit out of the bloat and just have a clean, fast work laptop with a digitizer. Only cost me ~$600.

Best Buy does price match though. Sales rep gave me the hook up when I went for a price match that I saw online (Costco I believe) and he gave me the WalMart price match (something he saw recently and I had no clue about it) and saved me another $5.
