6 weeks vacation + whatever sick time I accrue throughout the year, feels good man.

Delaware doesn't have mandatory paid sick leave, so most people haven't had paid sick leave for the last decade.
I'm like 99% sure average paid vacation amount is falling for white collar employees, too.
Majorly depends on the industry.
My company wide policy is after 6 months 40 hours sick time and 40 hours vacation. Then after 1st year vacation increases to two weeks and third year 3 weeks vacation.
No other increases until either 5 or 10 years I can't recall which however.

I have summers off plus several sick and personal days. I'd have to look at the contract to know exactly how many.
We also have spring break, winter break, and the entire week of Thanksgiving.
Really makes up for some of the shitty kids I have to put up with throughout the year.
Don't have to bust out the dress blues a month early. Hurray shiftwork!
I currently get 120 hours vacation and 160 hours sick time per year. The vacation time doesn't rollover, but the sick time does. I currently have a little over 500 hours of sick time and that's after needing a whole week off earlier this year because my girls caught hand foot & mouth and couldn't go to daycare.
I have 3 weeks vacation, 1 week sick time, 1 week personal time. I've also had my soul sucked out of me a little bit each day over the course of 16 years to get to that level lol.
30 days, paid, every year, to do whatever the fuck i want.
I'd say it depends on how frequently you get shifted around. A month or so on a specific shift? Cool. Changing every week or less? Fuck that.
Sooooo got the test results from mai gender studies electric & magnetic fields class and, well, not the best by any means but got the '6th' highest out of like 70 students. I'm excite bc I didn't study for the fucking thing so yeah. A classmate got like 3 points and others a big fat goose egg, lol sux. Plus I met this one girl over the weekend; she's a godamn fantastic dancer, we frens now. AND a client paid some sum I had forgotten about. Anyway, yeah. Harambe smiles upon me. I think I just jinxed everything by posting doe. DO NOT ABANDON ME, HARAMBE.
Well also depends on if we are talking civilian or military. Can't really speak for all military or Navy but shiftwork on a submarine generally means 8 on 16 off everyday (but really longer because of breifings and turnovers running into your "off" time) until it's over at it's best. I'm sure AoE's seen something similar. Worse case you are doing something that is effectively 14-20 on and whatever is left in the day off for months just so you can have more people standing around just in case something happens <.<
24 on / 24 off is what I remember from being in the military and that shit fucking blows dick.
spent literally the past three days working on one simple computer science problem. I got it down to one last bug, but for the life of me I couldn't figure out what the bug was, until last night when I finally identified it - even then, I couldn't figure out how to fix it. was seriously hardcore stressing me out because this should have been a simple problem
fixed it just now. added one tiny line of code with three terms in it. that's it.
I am laughing to myself right now because I feel SO FUCKING GOOD to have that off my back

lol
AC unit in the living room caught a fit and the fucking plug melted. Thank fucking christ I was home and caught it. It tripped the breakers but if it hadn't. That'd be a bad day.
Meanwhile in my world: I sold a pair of underwear to a dude on Craigslist for $30.
Inb4 Zetanio's "You're gonna get your dumbass killed."
Well, duh. But in the meantime, mommas cashing in.
