I do fireball shots at the bar or tailgating or whatever, if I am chilling at home I will often mix it with a Dr. Pepper. Has a nice flavor.
I drink nothing under 150 proof; and I rarely ever drink (3-4x a year tops)
i drink nothing but pure alcohol, but i only drink after sex.
FUCK AFTERSHOCK. My fucking husband got me that nasty shit at Blizzcon in 2010. He had this idea that it was cherry flavor and I was all..fuck yes I will down anything cherry flavor!
So we buy the bottle and only after I notice it;s fucking cinnamon. I love my fucking alcohol but cinnamon I can't stand the smell of in liquid/candy form. But i'll be damned if I'm letting alcohol go to waste so we are in one of the hotel rooms in Anaheim with like 8-10 others and I start doing shot after shot until about 3/4 of the bottle of Aftershock is gone from myself only. Somehow we convinced one of the younger members to take a shot and someone else decided to eat the fucking crystals. I don't remember much after that aside from Melena having a killer migraine so walking him down to our hotel room and went back to drink more. What I had , and what happened remains a mystery. All I know is one of our friends apparently had to nearly carry my ass back to the room we were in , my shoes were missing and I woke up at 6 am puking on the hardwood floor of the Annabella hotel. I felt bad for the housekeepers so tried to clean everything up in my drunken state.
I'd rather gouge my eyes out with rusty spoons than ever drink that shit again.
i keep fireball in the freezer, drink it straight from the bottle, scare all the weaklings here. That being said, I have Maker's Mark for my chillin sippin
Don't even need that Shit chilled, I have it in a flask constantly. Deff better chilled tho. That and Rumple Minze only stuff I like to sip straight.
Also, didn't see it mentioned... Fireball and angry orchard hard cider... Sooooo fucking good, like to make it frequently.
So, just got back from a Fertility clinic with my GF. The Win is that they were not against her and I having a baby and now we have a bunch more appointments coming up to see what are the possible options. It's super exciting and amazing.
Now the shitty part. My health. Best case scenario, I die when the kid is 10. That's the straight up truth. I will not get anything extra. Now, before I met Sam, I was fine with dying. Shit was no prob. Now though? I don't want to die, I don't want to miss out on a possible child. I don't want to miss out on First steps, words, school, ect. I want to grow up and see my child get married. I....want them to see how much I'd love them and make them happy.
I get it logically. There is nothing I can do about it. Whatever will happen, will happen. But fears don't work that way. Granted, I won't let this stop me and it will make me love the possible child even more and make sure whatever time I have with them is filled with nothing but happiness but no matter what, during that kids childhood, I will die. What's even worse is that it could be a slow death, painful death. I don't know how I'm going to handle watching my child watch me die. And just so much more. I'd be writing a book if I said everything that's currently on my mind. Fuck you all for being healthy and "normal". Assholes D:
God damn it, dying alone was so much easier. Fucking stupid ass girlfriend. Fuck.
yay someone got my joke!
also, myrrh, i was going to tell you what i have planned in such an eventuality in the hopes it might help, but i realized i really don't have a way to handle the kid, which is the hard part. i wouldn't push 'em away, though. best i can do is say try to push those thoughts out of your mind and just carry on with life until you can't. but i guess, relatively speaking, i qualify as normal and healthy here, so idk.
Kind of hard to relate to that type of situation. I do know when I was an infant, my mom was diagnosed with cancer and had no idea whether she would make it through or not. She started writing letters and all that kind of thing to me explaining who she was, and what happened to her, how much she loved me and what she expected of me growing up, etc... in the event of her not living too much longer.
Happy to say she's still here and healthier than ever, never read the letters, although I know she still has everything locked up somewhere in my parents' house.
I'd honestly document everything you can during the process of conception, and the early years of your child up until your passing. Your child will cherish and appreciate all of the memories, letters, photos, videos, etc of your family once they get older.
The solution has already been made into a movie. My Life. Of course there's a lot more to the movie than what you are facing, but it gives me an idea of how I would handle my inevitable absence from my children's lives.
I need a fucking drink now cuz of you depressing assholes.![]()
I am going through with it no matter what and it's something amazing. Like I said. I never expected to have a kid in my whole life. This is absolutely exciting. Nothing's 100% confirmed on if we can even have a kid but I'm very hopeful. Those fears are things that when I was single and dying were nothing. Life is fucking weird.
Don't expect it to happen immediately either. When the wife and I started trying we expected it to happen right off the bat. Took us just under three years.
Well, my GF and I have to get preggers through a turkey baster or something. I already know I'm sterile(No Vas Defrens, thanks Cystic Fibrosis) so I need to get a needle to my balls to withdraw sperm. But those things are crazy expensive so I really don't know where this can go.
