I stayed there on my last trip. I liked it. The theming is a bit kitschy, but it's relatively new and clean. The room also has a mini-fridge that the other Values don't have, and I was able to request a king sized bed for no extra charge which was nice. My room was also in the main hub area with the main pool, bar, restaurant, gift shop, and Disney bus stops which was very convenient. The main thing to remember though is that it is a value resort so there will be lots of families and kids, but they weren't a bother to me. No problems with screaming kids or kids running down the hallways or anything. Maybe I got lucky. If you can swing a moderate or deluxe resort I'd definitely stay there instead but if you want a good price with quality and that Disney feel, Pop Century is a solid choice.

Thanks for the feedback. I expect multiple kids/families at ANY Disney area and typically they are decent anyway. I'm a regular on a WDW forum and Pop is the most popular value and we've stayed Coronado Springs which we loved but always open to new ideas whenever we go again. Likely a year or two off as we are in CA , but again appreciate the personal insight and overview !

Dope, just below my 3.375, but that was a 30-year.i think at the time I could've gotten 2.875% on a 15-year (late 2012) but I didn't want to pay 3k/mo for everything.

"A good school district" 3 bedroom house is like 750k minimum out here.

Left construction and went back into retail management at a Firestone auto care center. Had my first experience with the employee discount. By far the most generous I've dealt with. Got a set of some premium tires, lifetime alignment, lifetime rotation and balancing, cabin filter, air filter, and some nice wiper blades. Regular price for everything was $1493. I paid $452. Like, ya. Doing the wife's car next week.

Well considering our tires at at Lexus /Acura for SUV or some high end sedans can run about 1k- 1500 installed , I can see where the pricing comes from with all the additional stuff too. We just did a service on our TLX and before my employee discount would have been around $330, I paid $125 out the door. This service included dust/pollen filter and engine air filter change as well as oil/tire rotation so it was more than the regular $55-60 mist services are.

Ya. The tires would have been about $1k installed. Bridgestone Driveguards. Run flats with nearly indestructible sidewalls. Size changes the price greatly as well. Plus I was getting all the lifetime services added on, which I'll never have to pay for again even if I no longer work there.
