My room was also in the main hub area with the main pool, bar, restaurant, gift shop, and Disney bus stops which was very convenient. The main thing to remember though is that it is a value resort so there will be lots of families and kids, but they weren't a bother to me. No problems with screaming kids or kids running down the hallways or anything. Maybe I got lucky. If you can swing a moderate or deluxe resort I'd definitely stay there instead but if you want a good price with quality and that Disney feel, Pop Century is a solid choice.
