I've been saying for awhile now that the best meals for me are usually under 100 bucks a person. My izakaya around the corner is probably my favorite resturant. I can get in and out with the GF for 100 bucks or less total even with a bottle of sake.

Yeah, there's a sushi place about 20 miles from where we live called Aniki's. Best Sushi we've found in the bay area, and we usually get 3-4 rolls to split between us and out for under a hundred bucks after tip.

I tried to get that sushi burrito from Hai Street on Friday and the woman in front of me got the last tuna. I didn't want Salmon and then the woman at the register offered me chicken... NOT THE SAME, LADY.

Minetta Tavern for fancy burger, Peter Luger's for normal burger (ONLY AT LUNCH)

Second place for normal burger would be Corner Bistro in the west village.

i can't tell you how badly i want to go to all 3 of these places but can go to none cuz wife is a stupid vegetarian and Peter Luger's appears to be in Brooklyn which we do not have time for.

It's not the best burger in NYC, but Bare Burger has a good burger and they have multiple locations in Manhattan and Queens. They also have vegetarian friendly options.

Yeah. Bareburger is ok. They have some cool meat options. Not my favorite but they do have a huge veggie setup.
