Avoided a $300+ speeding ticket yesterday on my way back home from dads. I was doing 10-13 over the limit and it was on the down part of a bridge. Didn't see the cop car until it was too late, but luckily some douchenut in a beater was doing at minimum 20 over as I was coming down in the other lane.

I was going about 10 over on the way home the other day when I saw the cop pop over the hill in the other lane. His lights go on and he ends up pulling over the guy behind me. lol

Snow day. Supposed to get about a foot so the office is closed. Already have 8 inches I'd say.

Firstly, fuckin' snow. Just getting dumped on here in NY atm, whiteouts in several spots and our plow trucks don't do jack shit. Started my drive to work and there's like five inches or so of snow on the road, can't find anywhere to turn around until I get to the next town. I get there, can't get a signal on my phone that's worth a shit so I can call in. Turn around, made it in time to call in without getting bitched at by about two minutes.

Got one of those movable kitchen island things for Christmas found an even better one at Costco so got it too since could definitely use too. Just discovered it's like the perfect height to use as a movable table for my bed lol. Ah yeah nothing like eating and watching shows in bed on a lazy Saturday

Started my new job this week. First day they signed out a laptop for me that has pretty good specs, core i7, 8gb ram.

At the end of my first week I'm a full 2 days ahead of the training schedule. Got to chill for the last hour and a half on Friday because the trainer didn't want to start a new section before the weekend.

New job seems like it will be pretty easy once I learn all the tools we have at our disposal and what part of the process they fit into.
