My #1 seed overall is Rasika, even if you only partially fuck with Indian food it's amazing. It's basically everyone who is anyone
s favorite restaurant which is all you need to know. There are two in DC, one of which is an easy walk from the W

Most of the "cool and hip" restaurants are in Eastern Market which is a cool and hip neighborhood that has recently gentrified but still has hella hood around it. Like don't go there during the daytime. It's not DANGEROUS but it seems like a real dump cuz its just vagrants asking for money but in the evening damn it is rolling and a fun hood to be in
Acqua Al 2 - cool and good Italian spot in Eastern Market
Cafe Belge - cool and good Belgian spot in Eastern Market
Rose's Luxury - Prob the hardest restaurant to get a table at in DC. You only really go there to brag that you've gone there. Also in Eastern Market
Le Diplomate - Cool and good spot at 14th and U. Can be tough to get a table. U street corridor is one of the good nightlife spots for now
Astro Fried Chicken and Donuts - Go here to pick up some awesome donuts and fried chicken items. Easy walk from your hotel
Momofuku - Legendary ramen, easy walk from your hotel
Milkbar - dessert place attached to Momofuku that does these weird cereal milkshakes

Have to go to meeting but there is a good starting point for you

Dunno if this is a win or a fail, but touched on this in the Uber tipping thread. Last night while driving I got a pickup request at the county fair. I get there and after a minute a security guard asks if my car is a Acura TLX. I confirm and he brings my passenger over who is obviously agitated. She immediately starts bitching about how she isn't drunk and asking if I'm being followed by the police as she doesn't want to take Lyft home (25 miles away) then back the next day to get her car. She asks like 4 times if I'm being followed and if I think she's drunk. At this point I'm practically choking on the alcohol smell but I can't legally tell someone yes or no they are drunk.

She insists on being taken to her car about a mile away from the fairgrounds. Asked her 3 times if she wants me to take her home instead and she's insistent. Let her off at her car, grab my work issued cell phone and immediately call 911 with her location and license plate #. Was asked to follow her at a safe distance and provide updates by dispatch while police was en route. Took about 3 miles and watching her nearly sideswipe a few cars and a tree but they finally got her off the road.

Had a really good in person interview after an initial phone interview on Tuesday. At Tesla today met with the regional manager of service and their service manager on site.

Really incorporated some key points from Tesla and tried to sound knowledgeable and asked some solid follow up questions too. I'm hoping to hear back the middle of next week as they mentioned originally possibly one last interview with the original one who did the phone one, so here's hoping.
