Spent Sunday getting drunk in public at multiple wine tastings and spending too much on the ones I decided to buy lol. Got to watch fwb get pretty trashed and hit on chicks and even one a number from one who seemed quite interested when I said how I was going to punish fwb later. Also some great food. Particularly one winery had some wine pizza sauce and onions caramelized in wine. And found out if I go during winter it's ridiculously cheap so guess going again for the birthday

We owed $900~ in taxes for last year. I remember it being weird when I made the payment through turbotax (I wanted to do it as the 4 payment checks, and selected the option, but then it didn't seem to want to let me file until I made the full payment.) Then about a month ago we received a letter from the IRS saying we owed the $900 and could be bankrupt if we didn't pay. I tried calling the phone line, and after being on it for over an hour of inputting information and being put on hold the computer voice line legit said that it was taking too long and they would not be able to answer my call and hung up. So I paid it online because I was scared I had done something wrong.

This week we got ANOTHER letter about owing the money, and I'm like "wtf is going on?" was able to actually call and get someone at the IRS. Apparently I DID pay both in April and last month, but because it got listed under my social and not my husband's (he is listed first on the return) the system wasn't registering it. So I am getting a check for the second $900 I paid. (Fail being I paid twice.)


Then today I found out we got our escrow balance of a $1500 surplus check, which makes me feel like that balances out (and then some) on the taxes we had to pay. So yay for being $600 up on my bills!

Casual dress code. You could get away with short sleeves as long as it's not a shitty shirt.

Had an Uber driver with a similar driving personality as me, aggressive and slightly reckless. Both of us died laughing when he cut off this one car with two teenage girls then went slow enough so we could see how pissed they were when she passed. Was just straight douchey the whole ride but I live for that stuff so I enjoyed it.
