That's terrible. The Target here is p decent but their fresh stuff is way shittier than even Trader's Joe which is on the same block. There's two good farmer's markets right by me though so I just grab all my stuff from there.

I have a duck guy now at one of the farmer's markets. I feel so Brooklyn. This is terrible.

Similar with me. Got WF right on other side of mall from the target which I get most my fresh stuff from. Only 1 farmers market near me. Well I mean there's another one like 2 miles from me but it's more of a hippy fest (no shit last time I looked only 1-2 actual produce stands with everything else being shit like beads and crystals or weird hippy food stands and music).

Gotta go a good 5-6 miles to the 2 big ones in town though which is horrible especially since one is only in the early mornings on Monday and saturday. Or do the Wednesday night one but also somewhat inconvenient.

Exactly two years ago, give or take a few days, I was accepted into this office in a trainee position, going from unemployed to well, trainee. Half a year later, I dropped out of vocational school because our office consisted of four trainees who were there only half the time due to school and I felt that we weren't going forward.

I worked my ass off, pulling all-nighters, being available 24/7 for customers and, at the beginning of this year, I officially cancelled my job training prematurely and was upgraded to a regular position. While I don't have any state-approved certification that I am good at what I'm doing, I can, should I feel inclined to do so, just take the exam once I've got enough years of job experience under my belt. When I was negotiating my salary, my boss (vice-boss, actually; was instated when my boss opened up business on the Philippines) told me that he wanted to quit and that I should take over.

I waited because I wasn't feeling overly secure about it and because I wasn't sure how serious my vice-boss was. Turns out my boss wasn't exactly happy with the situation either, which fits because neither am I. I'm doing 90% of the work in the office and can just have part-timers do the rest, if necessary, yet we're paying other guys who just wind up making things more complicated for me, so I finally sent my boss an e-mail and proposed to have him put me in charge of the office, downgrading the personnel we no longer need to part-time positions (which they agree with), freeing up money for investions and, at last, an appropriate salary for me.

I'm fairly sure that I'm not riding too high a wave here, but going from bottom to top within two years; I think that would, at the very least, look great on my resume.

I officially got a job offer I've been interviewing for since last month.
Quite a large jump in pay for me even with a commute that's tolerable and great benefits too plus an 8-5 M-F schedule. I'm beyond excited right now.

Not that long. Think it's about an hour roughly using public transportation. One of those rare commutes where taking public transit and driving would be about the same time wise.

It runs just over an hour but for the pay/benefits and opportunity well worth it. The office is about a 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride from the BART train station I get off at and it's not in San Francisco thankfully lol.

EDIT: shit was amazing from beginning to end. The ending especially had me holding back some serious feels with nostalgia. Crazy beautiful rendition of Ballad of the Wind Fish. Check out the orchestra if you ever have the chance.

The video montages try their best to convey the entire games story and it's music. Having said that, some of the more subtle tunes probably won't be appreciated as much by those unfamiliar with the game. For example, the symphony ended on Link's Awakening. A game I played through a million times as a kid. So when the rendition of Ballad of the Wind Fish was played with the montage of the game on the screen, I almost lost it when the text of "Come Link. Let us awaken together!" appeared.

In my case I did not have an N64 at the time.
And while emulating anything 4th generation and earlier is easy peasy, every time I look into emulation for 5th generation and later it always ends up a clusterfuck headache of "none of the emulators are good", "not ready yet", "you need to tweak settings and files and plugins for days".

When Saturn/N64/PS1 emulation reaches the point of do
1. DL emulator
2. Install emulator
3. DL ANY game you want to play
4. Run program
5. Play unbuggy game until end.
and nothing else, then there is no excuse. Until then, it's forgivable.
