Get OLED and don't get curved that is all I the wisdom I can impart. I could be wrong about oled

They aren't trying to teach you how to budget, they are trying to tell you that TVs over 1500-2k are traps and will be half that price in 6 months.

Use Rtings like posted. Don't get curved. That's all you need. If you're spending 3500 on a TV you ain't gonna be happy passing it in Walmart next year. There is some soliddddd shit from vizio and a few others below 2500.

Also, yes, oled is hot. Curved only good for the person sitting dead center looking straight at it, best for monitors.

My brand new 65" Samsung cost me $1800 and everything above it in price is $$$ more for what amounts to minor tweaks. If you're intent on spending $3500 my advice is to go up to 75".

I love my plasmas. We bought a 50" LG in 13 and a 60" LG in 14. Blacks are so rich I love it. Only downfall is our 60" is in our living room which always has a ton of light. I can't play any game on my PS4 with darks in it during the day. I tried playing Bloodborne and I literally couldn't see anything because the reflection was so bad. We need to buy better shades and what not.
