I turned in my capstone project for my Master's yesterday. If I get a 60% on my final project, I get an A for the class and graduate with a 4.0
Left a job in Feb as a store manager where I was working 7 days 60-75 hours a week getting paid for only 40. Took a temp government job for 6 months. Contract is up on Saturday. Told today at 4:30 I'm being kept on permanent full time.
Grats!
So, I have horribly unbelievable bad luck when it comes to technology. I break computers by just typing in Microsoft Word. I've gone through countless consoles. Well, today I was at Pancake House. I go to pay for my food via Debit.
I somehow made 3 of their Debit machines unusable. The win? I got my food for free but I'm not sure if I'm allowed back there lol
Have you considered at some point of your therapy, you were implanted with a short radius EMP thats always firing off?
Nah, that wouldn't fit. I was born with this technodisability
/makes note to not let Myrrh near any electronics
We know what's going to send Myrrh out of Master Chef, then. Hand-roll everything, man.
Got fucking drunk at Trader Sam's bar in Disneyland but got asked to photo bomb photos by two hot chics. The fail is I can't fucking remember their Facebook info they have me because I'm too fucking drunk though. Still worth it.
First time writing a linked list in C in probably...eight years? (A tricky but simple programming thing for those who don't know.) Segmentation fault (think climbing down a rope, only to suddenly discover the rope actually ended above you and you were holding on to nothing) the first time. Only mistake I made was forgetting to replace my placeholder "return NULL;" from the creation function with the correct "return start;".
Good old segfaults. Programming in c is so fun.
Come into work this morning and:
(even though I won't eat them all)
Liar
Nooo I've been so good about my weight loss, and although I love doughnuts, I really won't eat them all. I've had one already, and I'll have another during the course of the day.
Don't stop, Julia.
Eat them all.
they're counting on you julia
My coworkers ate some of them too, haha.
More win: I got tickets to see Garth Brooks! lolcountry and all that, but I've loved Garth Brooks for at least 20 years (if not longer) and I've been dying to see him. I have to drive all the way to Jacksonville but whatever, it's totally worth it.
