The next 3 weeks I'll be stationed in the server room during our peak days, to be there for 12 hours each day solely in case something goes wrong (99% chance nothing will go wrong)

So getting paid normal 40, plus 20 hours of 2x to play games and watch movies for 3 weeks

After 3 years slinging coffee at Starbucks, I got a job interview today for an office job doing database work.

And I was hired on the spot. I'm still in shock about it, I nearly broke down when she told me.

Double my current pay, vacation days.. Looking nice again. God damn it feels good. Gunna miss my coworkers but luckily they all live local, made some lifelong friends at that joint.

Landed a gig editing the Disney Christmas Day parade on ABC this year. My first broadcast gig. Last year it was hosted by Nick Cannon and NPH, not sure this year. Still, stoked about cutting something that will be seen by likely tens of millions.
Here's last year's:

Plus, the job doesn't start until November 10th so I have 4 weeks off. Taking the wife and baby to Palm Desert next week, might visit my sister and nephew I haven't met in November.
