Christmas shopping has officially started.

My daughter has gotten into watching this woman on youtube called the Disney Collector. All she does is buy mostly disney toys, opens them, and plays with them. My daughter has been SUPER obsessed with one of the videos where she takes these princess dolls and puts play-doh dresses on them. I had made a mental note to get those for xmas for her since I figured she'd get a big kick out of it. Only downside I figured I'd get her only a few because online one doll is like $8, and a set of 6 were selling for $30.

Go to Costco today, they had a set of 8 of them for $18. (In fact, pretty sure it's the same 8 the woman had gotten.) Fuck ya.

Only random fail was trying to buy it and get it out of the store while distracting my daughter. Needless to say, I realized the hard way she is too old now for me to xmas shop with her. I gotta start leaving the kids with hubby while I go shopping when I find deals.

Now I gotta find a certain MLP set she also has been watching on those vids.

Finally put a SSD drive in my tower, should have done this a long long time ago!

Also, scored 15 blank DVD's for a dollar at work. I only needed one (actually needed none since installing windows from USB worked), but we only had 15 packs, and walmart didnt have singles or 3packs. Price was incorrect on the shelf, and I invoked scanning code of practice. I'm probably not supposed to do that as an employee, but no fucks given.

Got called in because a polygraph examiner wanted to talk to me in regards to a confession from a subject interview I obtained roughly two years ago. Subject before his trial tries to say he was coerced by me because I'm twice his size, subsequently confesses to the sexual assault again to the polygrapher before even running any charts lol. So now his stupid ass is gonna get hit up with an additional five years for a false official statement.

EDIT: Mind you the polygraph examiner is a 5' nothing white female who weighs maybe 105 pounds wet lol.

Tonight, after 25 years of wishing and waiting, I finally got to fulfill a dream of mine and got to see Garth Brooks live. I drove four hours to Jacksonville, I’m staying in some seedy hotel where I’m not quite sure I’m safe, and I’ve screamed so loud I probably won’t be able to speak for a month and

That was one of the best experiences of my life. I have never in my life been brought to tears by a concert. Garth Brooks brought tears to my eyes. I always thought people who cried at concerts were silly. I NOW UNDERSTAND. I was miles from the stage. I don’t care. I saw Garth live. I got to sing his songs with him. I got to experience the additional third verses of “The Thunder Rolls” and “Friends in Low Places.” I got to see him and Trisha Yearwood kissing and holding hands after years of shipping them together since they were always singing great duets. I finally got to experience one of the biggest superstars country music has ever known.

Three years ago, I got to see George Strait and Reba McEntire. Their show was great, and I’ll always remember it. But as much as I love George Strait, (and I really do, he’s been one of the best classical country artists for over 30 years) nothing will top Garth. Ever.

Finally. Finally. Garth, if you happen to read this, you have no idea what this show meant to me and my life. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being an all around amazing human being, performer, and someone whose music I grew up to. You sang directly to my heart tonight. I’m both honored and touched. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU. I love you.

I don't even care that the guy in the room next to me has had his TV basically at max volume. It doesn't matter. (I can barely hear right now anyway, my ears are ringing so bad lol.) I had a great night. I feel like if I died tomorrow, I've crossed out this entry on my bucket list.
