Kickstarter helmet mod came in. The glue was a bitch to work with. About halfway I finally got a method down so the first spots I had a go at look pretty rough. Gonna need to get some acetone and clean it up tomorrow.

We had a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser today for one of our part-timers who was recently diagnosed with Cancer, raised him and his family over $6000 clear which may be closer or above 7k after the PO Box is checked.

Guy really needs it, he lost his job within the last year or so and then was diagnosed a couple months ago, had to put his house up for sale and everything. Sad part is that it's already very well advanced and he only has a few months left if that, but at least we were able to help him out somewhat.

I asked my GF's parents if it's cool for me to ask her to marry me. I don't know whether or not people still do that but I figured I should ask. They both gave me a very happy "Yes".

Now, I have the ring and will ask her to marry me during my Bahamas trip. Got it all planned out

I think it's very sweet and awesome when someone asks. I know people will often chime in with it's not the 1950's argument anymore , but I still think it's a great show of respect.

Nah dude, definitely legit. I've always dated daddy issues girls primarily with absentee/etc fathers but I would 100% ask them both if the father is present in a gal's life. I'd feel weird asking just the mom if she was raised by a single parent. To me, its more of a thing between the two men but I would want the mother to also be involved in the topic if I were asking the father.

Viva fortuna at Freeport. We go there every year for my transplant anniversary. I plan on getting on stage there and making a huge speech before I ask. I've always wanted to do a sports game one but neither of us care enough about sports that it wouldn't be a dead give away if I suddenly bought tickets.
