I participated in an earlier version of this when I was a kid in middle school, it was called Botball at the time and our team finished 2nd in regionals, just missing out on the trip to Seattle for nationals but damn it was a fun time. Our lego robot device was bad ass.

nice. we're having problems getting the kids to sit down and do stuff. they're barely partway through the basic robot we've got them building. i honestly don't think this program is going to work without a core of older kids who know what they're doing to keep the younger ones focused/progressing.

The doctor that owns the practice my wife works at told her today he is going to open up a 401k for her (and only her), and hook her up with $4,500/year deposit out of his own pocket. She's been working with him for over 10 years, which is why no one else got the deal lol.

And myself... needed to pick up a battery for my winter beater (01 taurus). Best price I could find was $119ish at Autozone -_-. Ended up checking around for some coupon codes. I put in 4 separate codes and took the price down to $80. The website was only supposed to allow 1 code per order.

Bit of fail but leads to win. Randomly while lurking on a Ford Fusion Hybrid forum I found out about a goodwill payment due to them overstating the EPA. Checked the ford site and saw that all checks were mailed september 30th. Called them up, found out they admitted that the system was fucked up and not auto sending payments to people who bought it used even though they qualified. Just got done sending them proof that I purchased it in the proper time frame and will hopefully have my $775 check by the end of the year.

First order of two I got the deal on I posted about last week arrived. Was afraid when I opened it the first dress wouldn't fit due to me losing weight/oddly shaped/ style I never wear but I am so glad I ordered it now. Looks and feels amazing on me.
Both cropped cardigans and dress also fit perfect on top despite my large boobs. So fucking happy right now and hoping the second shipment tomorrow is just as awesome.

Started my new job today. Was awesome. I love the staff and I love the school. I am shadowing the teacher until Xmas break, and then it's all me when vacation is over.

Mad pressure is on though. Why?

Well, as I mentioned, this is an elite private school. I didn't think much of it until today but it sounds like the staff get to send their kids to school for free. That school's tuition is almost $30k a year per kid. And I could send my kids there for free if I can snag a permanent job. Holy shit. Never in my life did I ever think I would be able to give my kids that type of education. Now, it is in the palm of my hands as long as I can find a way to show them how useful I can be.

Time to work my ass off for the next four months and see if it pans out.

Thanks guys! It's crazy 'cause I have been so insanely frustrated with the whole process of trying to get a job, and now it feels like there was a reason for it. It's mind blowing how things are turning out.

if the award isn't already dated for a date prior to you taking the test, they cannot do such a thing without expecting your OIC/CO to probably get fired. They're cracking down on advancement policies because of shit like this. That being said, if you're relying on a 2nd class to write an award for you, you're gonna have a bad time. You need to figure out who actually does administrative shit for your shop or whatever, and get in good with them, and make sure THEY'RE the person that notices you doing things that are above and beyond your daily taskings, so that writing such an award isn't pulling teeth and making shit up on a whim.

It was dated before the test...probably a month earlier from what i remember, also its a impact NAM. Supposedly that changes everything?

Sure, I can send you the paper/powerpoint I made too, cause a lot of my stuff in the presentation was visual. I think what was the most hilarious to me was that I gave people the chance to say the worst shit they possibly could about Jews, and every single person except for my friends in the class answered when I asked them what they associated with the word Jew. Oh yeah and people got uncomfortable when I talked about the word Kike and said it throughout the presentation.

Worthless is gone! First random win in forever. Worthless was my uncle's bullshit dog. I didn't get along w/ it at all and all she did was smell like shit, take shits (often in the house), make people think I abused her (she ran away every time she saw me; though she actually did have a reason about a week ago since she picked a fight w/ the neighbor's dog and I busted a table over the both of them, but this went on for over a year leading till now).

Anyways, they never had as much as a leash for the dog. If my uncle let her outside, she'd go do her business and come in. If the neighbor let her outside, she'd listen to him as well. If I let her outside, she wouldn't even go outside unless I literally scared her/chased her out (then would be impossible to get her back in w/o the neighbor's assistance, assuming he's home). So the neighbor comes over one day last week and lets her out. Someone in the neighborhood calls animal control or something. The dog is microchipped(Registered to the ex-husband of the lady that gave the dog to my uncle) . The neighbor goes and finds where the dog was and tries to get her back and the "Owner already came and picked her up"

if the NAM was never signed, lol, then no. If you're at a command where your actual CO has signing authority, you may get by if he signs it. If he doesn't, he'll have to explain why it should be signed TO a signing authority, and big Navy is cracking down on random ass "bullshit" awards. Good luck.
