So yeah, I was having this big cricket infestation in my place. I was fucking tired of having to capture them like pokemans and then release them. About two weeks ago I was going to take a shower and spotted this wild spider drinking water. So I thought, 'you know what? This might be your solution to your cricket problems. Just let it do its thing and take care of business. Because fuck those crickets.' Well, for w/e reason (I'm hoping it was the spider's doing) there ain't no more crickets.

Anyway, so about a week later I was drying my hair and you know when you look down because you have the towel over your head? Well I saw the spider fall, I was like 'wtf, there you are.' It scared the shit out of me. Today I saw it again drinking water in the bathtub. And I'm telling you, that thing has a motor. It was fucking animated and ugly, dude. So idk if I should release it too but I'll have no protection against the damn crickets; Or risk it and have this thing rek me in my sleep. Gdi.

Decided to have a smoke before getting into my car after lunch. Bout a minute later I saw an old SUV come flying around the corner, skid, slide into the center divide, go up on two wheels before straightening out and speeding off. Walk in to the office today. VP of the regional office is there. Red flags galore as we haven't seen him in 6+ months. Random win? He's handing out bonuses. Bonus is larger than expected, got an even larger contribution to the retirement account, and I'm getting a title change/pay raise for next year. On top of that, came home to a refund check from the doctor's office because they overcharged me.
