So where can I find the patch notes so I know what the hell to be doing? Lodestone copy is down and everyone in this world hotlinks now.

My launcher is weird. It takes ages to get the login form to appear and then when I put my details in and click the button nothing happens. It worked after restarting the launcher 5 or 6 times. Any idea what's wrong with this shit?

I didn't see any specific mention of it in the notes, rereading now.. but PS3 menu navigation is a lot quicker. I'm hoping they managed to cut down load times but haven't been able to try much. Kind of exhausted.

It's kind of annoying that when you click into XIV from outside the app, it seems to assign a random camera angle.

Got to say, I like that Sold and Myth are different colors now. I had to actually be paying attention to know the difference in roulette descriptions

I vaguely remember something about this but it wasn't in the patch notes. Maybe 2.25? Or maybe they actually fixed some of the bugs but didn't put them in the notes.

Question regarding Atma farming:

Your character is required to have his Zenith weapon equipped during FATEs, but how does that apply to Paladin?
I mean, do you have to equip BOTH sword and shield, or does the sword suffice?

I wouldn't risk it and would just wear both, because why not.

Oh, nice coincidence that I never thought about the shield. I got an Atma with Curtana Zenith and Onion Shield equipped, so the weapon alone should be sufficient. No idea if it would be sufficient to equip only the shield, though.

Truth is, I never upgraded the shield as I was going for the Allagan one.

But it does raise an issue on how to get the book upgrades for Holy Shield Zenith, since iirc there are a few of those, then a few for sword.

Everything probably applys to sword and when you go to make Animous it probably just upgrades the shield as well, when you made the relic it was all about the sword, the shield was just a bonus. So one would think the same would apply here as well.

edit - Upon completing my staff, it told me that Curtana has 7 books, and 2 books specific to shield so there is your answer. It gave a brief on why everything else requires 9 and that one had a different amount required.

Moreover, once you've done both shield books you can go turn it back in to upgrade it to Animus right away. Unlocks the achievement as well.
