Toad and mini are now things again. All the new status effects are interesting, and can give some insight on some of the new mechanics of potential coil fights. It looks like there might be more of passing around a debuff. The new enemy skills are interesting too.

I guess its really going to depend on how fast people can grind out levi weapon or relic upgrade as to which will be faster for progressing through coil. Seeing accuracy on the healer stuff makes me think the DPS checks will be impossible to pass without ilvl100 weapon minimum.

all of them are kinda whack in Animus state, it's the end result that's gonna be hawt when we're done upgrading 'em. iirc someone posted in the live letter or some interview about once they're Zodiark you can edit them how you want

Just did a cursory glance at the 110 stuff. Too lazy to put together a proper BiS set, especially since we have no idea of the acc requirements, but just using a basic algorithm of parry=acc>noskillspeed>det=crit I got:

head - noct
body - noct
hands - =/allagan
legs - =/noct
feet - allagan
neck - =/noct
ear - =/allagan
bracelet - allagan
ring - Noct
ring - Allagan

'=/' being "they're about equal, but I think I prefer ____"

Mhh the new gear is interesting. The Allagan set has tons of determination for White Mage and the Daystar Set has tons of crit for scholar. Looks like I will need both.

Yeah upgraded relics for healers don't seem that hot but gonna start the whm one anyway, will need it for the future. Plus Leviathan wep is a wand for WHMs..... no. T___T

Yagrush does seem very nice for whm though, so looks like we'll use Yagrush for coil and upgrade thyrus on the side for the future.

Although we'll need 1300 soldiery tomes for the weathered weapons... wow. Gonna take a long time to get geared, does not help that I will miss the first 1-2 weeks since I'll be abroad. O.O

1300 is 3 weeks of capping, which is the same as it was in 2.0. It's not THAT bad, but still quite a bit.

so, I upgrade my Gae Bolg and lose ACC and Crit and gain Skill Speed and DET >.> I think I would have prefered a straight up stat boost and cosmetic change

Yeah, drops from Ex. I havn't followed this thread enough as there's be so many posts, but idk where to get mirror at yet
