I am pretty confident all 18 hour runs (despite the different name) are the exact same.

The cool rewards (and food/furniture) are likely the same, however if you wind up with generic trash, it's likely tailored by type.

For example, my ARC commonly brings back Ochu Vines and various monster giblets, but my MIN will bring back Adamantoise Shells and other shit that you can mine up.

Considering you're in combat during all of Atomos, I don't see how that would have been possible.

Do we know what the differences are between Field/Mountain/Forest/Waterside explorations? Do they have different "special item" loot pools?

Anyone noticed on Field explorations (18 hour ones) the retainer seems to bring back the same items?

Had several times the retainer brings back bronze pieces and then a same secondary item (raptor skin HQ, materia, etc)

(as in, both retainers come back with the same secondary item with a varying number of bronze pieces)

Buddy of mine had his retainer hit 50 a couple days ago, and yesterday he got a Competence IV materia from his 18hr. So in general yeah, seems to be the same category of stuff, but level may affect the quality/quantity. If your retainers are the same level, wouldn't be surprised to see them bring the same stuff back.

It might be weighted, but definitely doesn't *require* that. I got a Guile IV from a Lv 20 Botanist.

The real question is since Retainers have been getting a lot of weird ass items (including Event Rewards / 1.0 only items) does this mean they can get me a Chocobo Mask? I knew I should've done more caravans all those years ago...

I got a Christmas event-only food item yesterday, so event rewards like that might be possible.

I will sacrifice untold numbers of Lalas for my retainer to bring me back a baby Opo or a Bluebird. That would be amazing.

I've gotten a couple i70 warwolf stuff. BRD hands and DRG feet.

Regretting having a combat retainer now that I'm at 50 w/ my MRD+BTN. Having 2 BTN is kind of nice for farming trash mats. Could just reset it I suppose.

I've gotten 3 different warwolf pieces of gear and 2 different i70 warwolf weapons. One of which I actually now use, lol.

Anyone know what the taffeta shawl and loincloth look like? Got a cloth from my fisher and listed it for 500k and it sold pretty much instantly.
