Is the harvest count for electrum ores 5? Does it go higher when you're at 50?

Item count pulled in is affected by the "gate" stat (ilvl for combat, Gathering for DoL). Goes in tiers. At best you pull in 30; I think the tiers for most BTN/MIN items is 5/10/15/30.

While I'm in here, I'll give the rave reviews of my first top-tier Lv50 18-hour ventures...

...whoa, stop the presses. I'm so glad I melded my retainer's MIN gear, and grinded out that 2nd i70 tool/hat.

DoL retainers kind of get the shaft when it comes to the high level exploration reqs.

DoW you just slap on some outdated coil gear and any i90 accessories you have laying around (my alt had enough junk to make an i80 LNC, the highest ilvl required is i70).

DoL you have to meld the HQ AF and get the i70 tool etc.

Even i55's left side with i90 accessories will hit i70 average with an i70 weapon.

Anyone make a list of X ilvl= items given from DoW/DOM and or DOL?

Been using my retainer to farm apkallu eggs because that stuffs usually farmed to hell as is 24/7 (that and its already kinda bad drop rate)

Pretty sure at ilvl70+ it's still 10 per hour for Apkallu Eggs.

Er I misunderstood the question, but it doesn't seem like you can boost anything that's lv40+ to above 10/hr

10 is the max you can get for any level, higher ilvl also decreases venture duration tho.

At ilvl 80 lvl 1-5 stuff is 40 mins, I doubt it can go any lower than that.

10 is cap for DoW, 30 for most of MIN/BTN, Fisher is kind of all over the place. I'll check my retainer listings in a bit.

Return time (1h>50m>40m) is affected by how overleveled your retainer is for that hunt. 10-19 levels over = 50m. 20+ = 40m
Yield works in tiers and is affected by ilvl (DoW) or Gathering (DoL)
-1 > 1 > 1 (seeds/soil)
-1 > 2 > 3 (sharks)
-3 > 5 > 7? (some fish)
-5? > 7? > 10 (some fish, DoW)
-10 > 20 > 30 (most BTN/MIN)

Perception effects their HQ rate, they tell you that flat out in the game dialogue when you enable retainer ventures.

Has anyone pulled up anything good from Woodland X, XI, XII, XIII? I'm gearing up the Botanist and am curious if the potential rewards are even remotely worth it. I can imagine getting high end seeds out of it, but beyond that I'm not too sure.

I remember seeing Gysahl ring from the 45 ventures, but those were for DoW/M retainers. I can only assume gathering ones will be a bit different. I started sending her out on the level 45 ones since I don't have the extra gear just yet for the XIII exploration, just to see what she comes back with. And because 45s were the first ones I remember actually returning interesting items, rather than just junk.

As was previously discussed a few pages back, the "special items" you can get such as the Gysahl Ring, Light Steel, Mindflayer, Giantsgall base weapons, etc. are prrrrrobably all the same regardless of the retainer class. The aforementioned items (aside from the Ring) come from the XIII one, unless I'm mistaken. I haven't gotten one personally.

That said, I've been doing the top-tier 18hr things for 3 days now and haven't gotten anything but vendor trash (HQ Vocanic Rock Salt [MIN], HQ Coeurl Meat [ARC], HQ Hippo Skins [ARC]).

Gotta love that 18 hour rng, I usually get courel hq meat. I did get a sauren? skin which was ok gil, a few lightsteel ,a few taffeta cloth and the mind flayer a few times.

I think I'd have better gil making effort these days farming expensive food materials from the vendor slow and selling mass amounts of food O_o
