Get 1X light steel -> can AH on market for 100-150Kish ... or
grab a few items (if you don't already have them, I did) craft light steel top/bottom -> sell that on AH for upwards to 400-500K ranges. (gotta have them dye-able panties for glamor!)

taffeta cloth is almost the same , just a little lower. Sauren is lower then the taffeta.

now that theirs a lot of them though, prices are more then half of that ;/

They were all really profitable for the first fee weeks if RNG favored you then. I made close to 2m on taffeta and lightsteel. Now I don't even bother w/18 hours top tier

Unfortunately thats now how the food markets working out, as craft material prices fall through the floor and posted in mass, and crafted items go up! Thats why I was probably going to make food, that is reaching 5K ranges, while it costs under 1000g to make O_o (this includes shard/crystal/cluster prices, subtract about 700g for cluster crafted food)

guess everyone just goin glamor crafting instead of... anything else ;/

I wish there was profit in that stuff on Leviathan. Light Steel Plates went from 700k+ to 40k in a week, with the items they make selling for less than it costs to make them.

Apparently for DoL at least, different classes have different gathering requirements. At the moment it seems fishing has it easier than others.

Fisher gathering requirements are less because they do not get an offhand

yeah =( fully melded means more gil to make though. I mean, both mine are DoW so I don't have to worry about it anyways, just seems like other DoL got jipped

I have every crafting class at 50 so I pretty much just gather craftable mats that I can HQ and sell like crazy. aldgoat horns, boar skins, fleece, diremite webs, electrum and cobalt ore.

I have enough control that a 1 hit macro can pretty much HQ any of them 80% time or more. So i'll just watch netflix on my laptop and go through a few stacks of mats and they sell very well and very quickly. with 4 retainers I think in the last few weeks I have about 1 mil+ on each from doing that.

any hq mats I sell since it's inefficient to craft with them and just craft the NQ mats to make NQ. if i'm doing ingots for example any remaining NQ ingots i can make hq plates/rivets/rings out of for another shot to make hq profits.

Don't need full melds to hit the gathering requirement if you have the tools/hats. If you don't have them, get them. If you don't want to get them, too bad, get them anyways.

^ these things are bound to be found because i didnt expect to find stuff like darklight as well. but i think you have to pull out all the stops to make that stuff drop like allagan pieces orso.

this may be alot and not very specific but this is what i remember. maybe it helps a bit

I highly doubt your friend got a Thyrus from Quick Venture. I also feel like if crystals/allagan/primal accesory/mounts came from QV we'd hear about it by now.
