They should have taken staggered the final start time by the distance between the contestants, and actually allowed them to know how far ahead and/or behind each of them were. Having them all hit the mountaintop and then come down before TJ announced the winners? Very anticlimactic. Having the individuals actually know they've won when the hit the top of the mountain is just more innately interesting. Sigh.

And yeah, WTF Zach?

Bananas actually earned a challenge win for once, and Laurel winning was pretty much a foregone conclusion since early on, with the exception of the Theresa puzzle challenge.

Standings aren't up yet, although we still have the STSHS show left to do, although I haven't seen any publicity for it yet, maybe they aren't doing it this season?

Agreed. Kinda defeats the purpose of "free agents."

Also agree with Byrd that "return to TJ to find out who won!" is anticlimactic. The puzzle was stupidly hard. They could have at least done it with like 6 cities but on larger pieces of wood that were tough to move, that way it's harder to get in place but not an infinite number of possibilities.

In the end having Devyn around was as bad on the final as I thought it would be. Good overall though.

I don't think they're going to do a Shit They Should Have Shown Show, so here's the (probably) final results. The guy hasn't done the final week's scoring, so I did it myself. I sent it out to the participants for their review. If, for some reason, we do get a STSHS show, I'll recalculate.

Moss - 915 points
Headspace - 790 points
Qalbert - 130 points

Bananas - 250

Cara Maria - 165

Best choice in the last 10 available: UDFA: Devyn (Qalbert) - 130 points
Worst choice of the first 10 taken: #10: Dustin (Moss) - 15 points
Worst actual choice: #19: Chet (Headspace) - negative 25 points

By the way, the highest average points/player title was won by Qalbert. If you had nothing but 9 Devyns on your team, you would have won by over 200 points.

Curiously, going by just the Fantasizr point system, Headspace would have won the title. Thank goodness for coitus points.

Thought: next season, we should do some mid-season trades.

Diem passed away yesterday, after her 10-year fight with cancer. I always liked her, she seemed at least a little more level headed that most of her contemporaries.
