Today I learned PIE on Relic has different caps for healer weapons and non-healer weapons.

Makes sense, kinda.

VIT and PIE caps are different for accessories depending on the type.

ie. Ruby/Iolite (melee stats) cap at +15 VIT, Sapphire/Emerald/Diamond (mage stats) cap at +14.

Technically the PIE knowledge has been around for quite a while, but you had to know what to look for. From my old i70 meld data, I had to separate out the PIE caps for healer gear (like MND-specific darklight) and the INT/MND combo accessories, since they had different caps.

Again, it's to do with a certain % bonus that stats go up in the ilvl shift. It's not a flat +3 across the board to the 75 total or anything.

The revised "theory":

44cap: Bonus points at (21 or 22) and (somewhere 42-44)
*Did not +1 at 20, for sure is +2 at 44 (capped).

31cap(Det): Bonus point at 30?
*For sure +1 at 31 (cap), unknown about exactly 29 or 30.

PIE: Unknown
*BLM Novus at cap (+23) got +1 (+24), but it caps at 33 for healer Novuses (Novii?) so... idk.

The reason I came to the original 20/40 is that I verrrrry loosely reverse-math'd based on a 44crit/31det Novus going to 46/32.

75/78 = 0.96
44/46 = 0.96
31/32 = 0.97

To be generous I took 0.95, meaning Novus->Nexus was a 5%ish bump to stats. For a few numbers given this "worked"; it would not roll up to the next highest integer until 20 and 40 (for 44caps). Det is roughly 2/3rds value of regular secondaries so I took its bonus to be 3.33%, which went up at 30ish.

Obviously this wasn't totally accurate, but it seemed close enough to the results to not matter. Needs refinement.

The 5%ish bonus theory is somewhat supported when looking at the caps on HA weapons versus Novus or i110 soldiery weapon caps; they aren't just "random", they have to hit that i115 value somehow.

Same on Sargatanas, 670k right now, had been 500k a week or so ago...I broke 2 in a row @ 88% the day before they spiked. Would be nice if they'd do something about them, maybe make them a rare venture drop considering there's already tier 1-3 from those.

Det31 is 7 8 8 8, PIE33 is 9 8 8 8. I think, maybe 8 8 8 9 on PIE?. It's definitely not 11. 11/tier is only for 44caps.
