Is this confirmed for certain (and it wasn't just two jobs who both had nexus)? I'm working on nexus for pld while my bard already has nexus, would be a wonderful two birds with one stone if so.

You still have to get more then 1 item if you need to complete 2 nexus

I got as far as completing the initial step to flag Soul Ascension or whatever they called it. Time to track down NPCs I guess? No quest pointers threw me off and I said fuck it because I had to get to work on time.

Worst part is fucking Brangwine and Papana requiring the Water upfront; that's the only real roadblock (and it's really just an annoyance because of the inconvience). You'll probably wind up (if you were smart and capped Soldiery anyway) close to the 1.6k you needed for the other Water just by spamming up the dungeons in the three paths open to you.

Of course that still leaves you needing two more on the backend for Adkin and Guiding Star, but hey!

That'll teach me! Guess I've got some slogging through dungeons to do. This is why is pays to be paranoid, though: I'm sitting on 2k soldiery 2k myth because I didn't trust SE not to require this bullshit stockpiling again.

Yes, but you'll be fucked over on getting to the dungeon portion of Brangwine's and Papana's quests depening on whom you go to first, due to the 2,000 Soldiery limit (Sacred Spring Water is 1,600 and leaves you needing to make 1.2k to get the other one).
