Get into T9 farm, run out of other things to lot on. The bard isn't me, but that'd be a dead ringer description of what my BRD looks like at the moment, mostly because I don't care about any of my jobs except my main and possibly my second.

This. I was curious about the lore reason behind why the weapon was changing so much.

I get that you convert the old shits to materia, but... where did the new base weapon come from?
Also, does completing this stage lock you into your Novus-stage materia choices, or are you still free to flip-flop?

I realize these questions could probably be answered on my own if I'd just go log in.

EDIT: Theres an option for Zodiac weapon modification. As usual, get a sphere scroll, talk to old man, he infuse your sphere scroll as per 75 points allocated at your novus stage, you tweak, trade him and he auto upgrade to the new stats, with proper IL enhancements

EDIT: Theres an option for Zodiac weapon modification. As usual, get a sphere scroll, talk to old man, he infuse your sphere scroll as per 75 points allocated at your novus stage, you tweak, trade him and he auto upgrade to the new stats, with proper IL enhancements

I wonder if this is foreshadowing for Heavensward, that if a new "relic weapon chain" is released in 3.0 it may require our zodiac weapon which will be converted in a component of some kind necessary for the Heavensward weapons
