the grind is worth it cos of customizable

however its also not worth it cos its always 1-2 steps behind "best dungeon drop"

because it is customizable, i dont think it will be easily replaced. UNLESS they kill it completely like "im sorry gerolt and friends didnt buy expansion"

if anything, they will only make new "relics" build on top of zodiacs like how relic > zodiacs

expect zodiac > something else, but not do-able unless you buy the expansion of course

pre expansion steps, as mentioned, will become non-hassle once they find it appropriate enough to throw in 10 fold light counts, and 100% atma FATE/dungeon drops, nerf books and water to dirt cheap

anyone know what happens if you trade in a nexus to upgrade to zodiac while you have a sphere scroll for the nexus? have got curtana scroll about to be finished, probably before i get enough soldieries to actually upgrade, but need 13 more alex to finish respeccing holy shield. can I just upgrade the respecced Curtana and the non-respecced aegis, drop the holy shield scroll, and get an aegis scroll?

to answer my own question, you can use the relic scrolls on zodiac weapons. he accepted my holy shield sphere scroll to respec aegis.

I think they will start a new relic quest line for 3.0. I would hope, and I think they will do this too, they add a bonus to new relic if you have old one completed. and just continue it with 4.0 onward with the bonuses. Kinda like beast tribe bonus for getting them all done.

I kinda feel like doing it again for my Lillith Rod now, I'm just afraid that if I do it casually, the queues will start to die down and speed runs won't be as good anymore. Not sure which dungeons I should focus on first besides AV/DH.

well, before ninja and drk is released and announced, i didnt have an identity. I would never be comfortable being a caster, and i didnt like tanking on war or pld since ffxi

but i had to choose something for my static/PF/DF game play so i did all those

now that i been maining NIN since 2.4, i havent touch my other jobs at all. PLD also died pach by patch for me since 2.2 and i been more of a WAR guy

once DRK is out, im just only focusing NIN and DRK :D for now, warrior and nin till then

book and staff and sword/shield will not be upgrade for realz

ima finish my wife's book tho, shes on 600/2000 lights since like forever :X

I was gonna say wine red looked good, but then I noticed the red crystal in the center of the shield. Personal choices would be ceruleum, woad, or midnight blue for good contrast with the gold. Pure white looks a tad too bright compared to your other gear.
