Everything I've read says it was doubled but I haven't checked myself at all, don't have a novus.

Yea...FC member did several last night, not one alex with Gold status on all of them....

doesnt seem like theyve raised it nearly as high as atma. 32 gold rank fates so far with Novus equipped and not a single alex. Hunts still the best way to go. (although the light generation from fates isnt awful now that they give 2 each)

I got an alexandrite in the very first FATE I participated in yesterday, and then none in the rest of the 10-15 I did. We're working with small samples and small percentages, though, so anecdotal evidence.

53 gold fates deep 0 alex, stopping for now. may have something to do with the fact that they're all below lv 10, but doubt it.

It doesn't, also what medal you get has nothing to do with atma drop rate, nor does successfully completing the fate.

(you can get an atma off of a failed bronze)

When equipped with relic weapon Animus, Novus, or Nexus, the drop rate of Alexandrite is increased when completing a FATE with the highest rating.

Assuming patch notes are correct in JP and EN, you're wrong. This change only applies to Gold and/or drop rate scales with participation level.
