Holy mother of fuck that is amazing. That just got me even more amped to grind mytho.
Good lord Gae Bolg looks fucking amazing, going to be awesome seeing those around, kind of reminds me of how the Tidal Wave spears glow looks but a lot more vibrant.
Surprised at the lack of Animus Bows.

Meh. At ten our of twelve farming on and off since patch. It hasn't felt that bad because I haven't been sitting hours on end just doing that only I guess. Like as soon as friends are on or I see something good in Pfinder I drop Atma like a bad habit and just go.
Managed to get a shikaree doublet for bard over the course of the week for sexy glamour purposes. A pair of white pants and black thigh high boots later my character looks like Treize Khushrenada from Gundam Wing. I've also realized after 15 years of being into the series that the Tallgeese II's paint job matches Treize' officer uniform colors.
... And if this is what I've accomplished while farming atma then I'm alright with it.
It's because we have this instead:Spoiler: show
That's precisely why my atma are going to black mage.
Surprised not more animus around, its not too bad a grind. With some effort, you can do about 1 a week (farming the atma's is the shortest part of the total grind).
Currently working on my 2nd animus on a WHM (I tend to swap between healing classes and need my sol for sch which is my main main so).
Here's the SCH animus, most people say its effect is like "the book is going super nova" (also has a nice star trail as you move around and really stands out in dark areas)
Probably super large image for some people)

Just follow the guide I posted earlier, it makes animus farming less painful (11/12 on whm atm and only on 2nd day farming). Unfortunately there isn't much to make myth farming less painful...
1 a week? I mean, sure if you don't have a full time job or a coil static to wipe with multiple nights a week...
Books aren't too bad to finish. Just gotta chip away at that 45 hour brayflox total. I'm halfway done with my first book so I hope to finish within 2 weeks I guess lol
Got a coil static also! 5-6 hours a night thur/fri/sat/sun (recently downed T6 oh yay) and work + working on a bachelor degree, I just don't sleep very long (as always). I only sleep about 3 hours per day (any longer and I feel tired/worn out) too used to the short sleep.
the guide I posted, with a ilvl 88+ group, once they get down the strat, can do 4-5min runs for myth. I did 2 books at a time (get 1, farm the other 1,500). Having non laptop/PS3 players that take 1-2min to zone speeds up the process also. Was doing about 900-1000 myth per 2 hours 15min ish spamming without a break.
Just doing dailies+map+roulettes every day brings in several hundred. I've been slowly plugging away and finished my fourth book last night. Doesn't hurt to get some fast queues in the meanwhile, either. A friend and I have been flagging for Haukke because even with i70 folks we can still drag the run to just around 18m. Slower than dedicated speed runs but it's working out.
On tank I flag CT a lot and get KB almost every single time, very quick 60 myth.
I haven't complained about the books yet, but the problem I have with them is that the effort involved in buying one is more than the effort involved in completing one. Surely it should be the other way around, IE cheap to buy but require you to do more shit. That shit should also contain level appropriate content (excluding Coil 2 as that would be retarded) rather than low level FATEs, low level dungeons, low level leves and level 50 trash mobs.
I don't mind the way it's put up, but I'm probably exactly the right sort of intended audience for it. The leves don't make much sense to me, but the FATEs? Out of the way stuff, and not all of it soloable ("Surprise!" in La Noscea is all-but impossible if you aren't standing on it when it begins) requires you to either work with others or have friends help out. The dungeons make you help grease the wheels for people doing DF, because who on earth would be flagging Stone Vigil or AV without being told to? Even the not-grinding acquisition isn't awful; doing your dailies and roulettes keeps the stockpile increasing without driving you completely insane. They're very much meant to be one piece at a time, as you find time sorts of things. Rushing them works because of no lock-out, but from a "How do we get people to do these things?" perspective, it works exactly as intended.
1 animus a week? Lol.... I've been farming since patch hit and I'm still at the Atma stage.
