You can undersized party and still get zodiac drops. Ran DD and AV solo on my 60BRD and went 1/1 both dungeons. Since leveling I held onto zeta until 56-58, might as well do it for my WHM in some down time.

Other random note, I went 13Pie, 31Crit/SS, and only broke one material the whole time. I almost thought it was 100%, because one didn't break until about 60th meld. Did not get drop from Longstop HM right before maint though.

Wait until more people get lv60, they'll be doing high level roulette for tomes so you should be able to get on the ride.

True! I'm glad they helped with the Alexandrites, but just doesn't seem like they beefed up the light values. My guess is when they say they made changes to gain lights faster I bet they just increased the frequency of the bonus windows for everything. Just a hunch.

Do you get them for completing dungeons solo? You could bum-rush Sastasha (lv15) pretty easy on any job I would imagine.

I haven't tested. I did however, start a new Mahatma for final stage this morning and I did 1 roulette HM on it. I'm going to keep doing 1 roulette HM and see how many dungeons it takes to complete. At 2.55 it took 3 and 2 primals or 4 dungeons to do 1 mahatma. So I'll know in a day or two if there has been a buff to final light phase. Which would be a ninja buff because it wasn't included in the notes.

Pretty sure I did a Brayflox normal solo and didn't get any light from that. Unless it was only dungeons beyond a certain level that gave light, I don't even really remember. My first Zeta was just done with mostly Garuda hard mode lol.

The Undersized Party option can only be used for the following duties
2.X dungeons / 2.X Trials / Binding Coil of Bahamut / Second Coil of Bahamut / Final Coil of Bahamut

This option has no effect on the strength of enemies or mechanics in the duties it is applied to. Players will still receive treasure rewards, first time completion bonuses, and experience points upon completion of duty when using this option. However, players will not receive experience points or items from enemies that appear prior to boss encounters. Spirit bond and soul resonance cannot be gained when using this option.

Doing a level 58 dungeon where most players would be using i150-160+ gear with a 110 weapon sounds like a bad idea for the last boss anyway. I thought about trying it in Dusk Vigil but I didn't want to gimp the run.

i just wish i knew what exactly they did to the novus > nexus light stage getting lights from old dungeon and fates but doesn't seem i'm making any progress

Fates shouldn't give you any lights. They never did in 2.0.

Update on this. I've done 3 HM dungeons and still haven't finish weapon - therefor they have NOT buffed the rate at which you acquire lights for final stage.

Not that it is hard, but still kinda ><
