Supposedly its just the numerical time, AM and PM doesn't matter. So 12 atma, goes up the list after each hour and repeats at the 13th hour

Glad I got my atmas already seeing as how now if I wanted to do these fates I'd have to wait for the appropriate hour for all the farmers to roll in to steamroll everything.

But seriously, between confirmation bias and mass mobs only farming these zones during designated hours this isn't gonna get disproven like ever. Thanks guys.

I am convinced, next zone and I got my atma after the fourth FATE. That's like 7-8 atmas that I have gotten since yesterday using server time. ^^

I'm sure the theory is still gonna float around but I don't think fates will suffer from it that much. There's still going to be people who farm it around the clock like we did, you'll probably just see an influx if the theory's window opens up

It's like the e-rod quest from 11.before you could buy the first that is. Some very lucky and some have shit luck like I did. I went 1 for 900+ of something on one of the fish when I needed to fish the bait. It suck but you might be the lucky one and go 1/1

More anecdotal evidence to pile on, just got Lion 1/8 and Fish 1/6 in their conspiracy theory correct time. Considering I spent 6 hours getting my first Atma before, I'm content enough to go with superstition while trying the rest of them.

For fun: server time was 9:47 which doesn't align with this zone. 1/1 for today's FATEs here.

Last night I logged in and went 1/1 out of the time zone. Today I've been farming for an hour within the time zone and nothing...

Just got Bull within 5 fates, 5:11 server time. But I got Water-Bearer around 9:50pm and Scorpio at 10:04pm.
Not convinced still, but figured it couldn't hurt to add my own experience. also watched cartoons while farming, does that help

edit2: what is even RNG, Twins at 6:02.

Rushed home to farm my last two ATMA. Didn't get either during their respective times using server and local. I did have a party of 8 clear out in central thanalan during the stated time, 6 of the 8 got it during the hour. (Server)

Anyways 12/12!

This quest should have really started at the books or maybe needing 1-4 ATMA. The books are well done and interactive. I'm sure at book 5+ I'll be tired of them but after the easily 50 hours of ATMA farming having quantifiable goals is a nice change.

Go ahead and do some brayflox runs, come back and say that. I have one book done and am ready to throw in the towel, mainly because the time required I just don't have and will probably get weathered coil weapon before I finish animus. I could come home from work and spend all night saving up for one book or I could level a different class and spend myth on actual gear.

It just seems like an awful lot of work for something that isn't even BiS, and one I know I'll replace soon.
