haven't finished it quite yet, but am I right that Curtana Zenith gets a bonus VIT once it's the animus? starts at 25, +2 from book, +2 from book, has 29 on it now as unfinished zenith with both vit books done, animus shows 30 VIT on various ff14 wiki/game sites.
When it is complete you'll get the boosted stats, just like animous shield.
What is the BLM doing rotation wise on the two pulls?
I try to gauge it each time, but in general its 2 Flares per pull and 2-3 Fire II's; Raging/Convert for the first pull, Ether for the second.
Patch 2.25 Thursday monning, time for new weapon!
Bringing up the rear, but finally matched the set. Stupid work and life getting in the way.
Spoiler: show
Edit: Anyone got a link to an official statement saying the next part of the Animus upgrade comes with 2.25? Lots of people saying it but I can't find it specifically.
Double edit:
Even though it will be time-consuming, is this the kind of thing that you plan for everyone to be able to possess if they work at it?
Yoshida: Well, there won't be anything stopping you from doing it.... That said, the strengthening will happen in steps and it won't end with patch 2.2. This will continue with 2.2, 2.25, and 2.3. It's planned in a way that not many people will have finished the elements from the 2.2 patch by the time 2.25 is available. We also have plans to keep the weapons viable even in their final form.
I kind of expect 2.25 to upgrade to i105 weapons, then i110 with 2.3
damn, i was liking the pace I was on so far for my booksbasically aweek for every book (unless of course i finish the book early )
Sounds about right. I'll be picking up my 6th book for Gae Bolg tomorrow, and I've been working at things "casually." By casually, I mean a week to get all 12 atma, and mainly only doing beastmen dailies and roulettes to farm ToM. That's still a 2-3 hour per day commitment, plus book completion time, so even then it would be hard to call casual.
I did about the same, but I threw myself headlong into the Atma stage right after it launched and was done two books before the first weekend was up. I'd stick to dailies+dungeons during the week and only really picked up some Brayfloxes after my 6th book was done and I wanted to just be finished with it. (It also didn't help I did those while drinking so thought it was a great idea)
Edit: Also, Boarskin maps. (Nonexistent) chance at Tonberry pet, plus sailor suit mats, plus a small bit of myth with a chance of a larger-but-still-small pile of myth.
Though I doubt it, I wish they'll allow you to progress if you've only finished shield. I don't really have any motivation to finish my sword right now.
