while that is definitely doable and holmgang can save lives, there is no way holmgang is nearly as effective as HG. If you're having to pop bene 2secs early to compensate for the lag you're only getting like 4seconds of sitting at 1hp, but even then that 4 seconds is being generous. Nobody can time their holm to go off at less than 100 hp on that pull without getting extemely lucky. I pop that shit as soon as I see myself in the 1500ish range to be safe

On any pull whms can pop DS medica 2. With 3 no amount of DMG is going to kill the tank. 3 whm can be done. On the 9 goblin pull I did DS medica 2/ regen and had NP holy spaming them

Hopefully this is the correct thread. I am curious if anyone knows if working on an Animus upgrade disqualifies you from doing A Relic Reborn? I am working on Paladin animus and recently dinged 50 Monk but Nedrick has nothing for me....

I've mostly been following the thread but if this has come up I haven't seen it.

Once you get an Atma weapon and you start working on books, there's no reason you can't turn around and put in another set of atma for a second Atma weapon, right? Or do you have to finish the Animus first?

You need a zenith weapon, so if you convert your zenith to atma, you need to get another zenith to gather more atmas

I don't see why you couldn't get another atma weapon, you just wouldn't be able to hold more than 1 book at any given time.

Yeah, I've already got two Zeniths now, and would just need to earn the myth to make Wiyu/Omnilex upgraded also. I figured I'd probably keep either Thyrus or Stardust as Zenith just for purposes of Atma farming since they're easier to work with than, say, SCH or SMN.

SCH and SMN are like....some of the best jobs to atma farm with.

You have a pocket tank a shitton of HP on SMN and you're virtually unkillable on SCH.

Depends on the FATE I guess, I've not really tried to use it for Atma but I'm used to seeing a bunch of zerg FATEs where the mobs are dead before I can get a single cast off, from when I was leveling (IE - pre-Ruin II). So I take it back.

Edit: and to elaborate, just tag as many mobs as possible if you want a good evaluation. Better if you can make them rednamed, but it still works great just tagging them.

SMN was the easiest also because when you get to the FATE portion of the books you can actually solo any fate. Recently I have been solo'ing piestskin maps as well, some are pretty tough. Been about 2 wins 3 loss right now.

BRD, tag every mob with venemous bite while popping bloodletter and misery's end as they comes up...gold in about 15 seconds.

There are some fates you cannot solo. Four Winds is definitely one of those. No class can output the necessary DPS to down that one in the time allotted solo.
