I got my final atma last night, but the missus wants me to wait to turn them in until she gets her 12.

I already have three dupes, so I'm gonna have like, a page of inventory full of atma before long, lol. It's fine, I was going to do WHM and newjob.

Definitely echoing the above. Just turn it in and don't tell/show her. There's certainly logic in doing the books together since they're all identical regardless of job, but when you turn it in is completely irrelevant.

I have Stardust Rod Atma that I will never finish because I swapped mains after turning in the atmas already... so 12 atma wasted there. And I will never touch BLM again except for SRs.

Just finished a second set of atma yesterday with Eanae and we're holding on to it for the new jobs just in case. Find out more about that E3 next week, but if a gun class comes out before 2.4 I am 100% swapping to that and using the atmas for it if they use relics. If not, then oh well, I have nothing else to do in this game right now anyways.

Doing the same thing here, although in my off time from raids and making gil... I just get more atma's. Although I feel SE may cock block that in some way for the new classes, so you can't just jump right into ilvl100 weapon at lv50 on the new class (technically speaking i100 anyway).

Looks like we have to infuse a sphere scroll with matera with the stats we want to add for Novus relics. So much for sleeping tonight I have to get on at 5AM to buy out the materia before prices skyrocket.

Before obtaining a relic weapon novus, you must first infuse a sphere scroll with materia corresponding to the attributes you wish to upgrade. Once fully infused, present the scroll to Jalzahn and you will be rewarded with a relic weapon novus of item level 110.

The enhancement process will raise your relic weapon animus's strength, dexterity, vitality, intelligence, and mind attributes to a value befitting gear of item level 110. Attributes that remain will be replaced with the ones infused into the sphere scroll. In the case of Thyrus Animus and Omnilex Animus, base accuracy will not be replaced.

All that work paid off. Animus is BiS until t9 weapon. I'm glad I saved my tombstone and sand, I get to use it on gear now :D

Edit: Ok I see what you mean, for that instance it might be dumb. But for my Smn animus it is awesome.

It does. The guy in SE's screen shot was DITCHING his accuracy stat and REPLACING it with skill speed.

If you could keep your other stats the i110 weapons would be comparable to t9 weapons, they won't be

On my smn animus I will be ditching spell speed in favor of accuracy(or crit I have to think about it).

It's a fairly big cash outlay, curious about what kind of torture we'll have to go through to get the scrolls.

Seems a bit extreme considering that nothing has had over 5 materia slots so far; more likely to me that it'll be similar to the beginning of relic weapons in that you basically meld a single tier 4 of each representative stat you want on it. In this case, that'd be 1 Crit IV, 1 SS IV. At least I'm hoping that's how it is ._.
