Has anyone tried holding onto more than 1 alex to see if you could use 2 for a grade 2?

You could still FATE farm instead of gridning out 800 mytho, depends which way you want to do it. the quest seems pretty long but by no means difficult. It's going to be annoying as fuck towards the end of the spheres if they reach T4 level and they're a 15% chance and possibly need 4 alexs each attempt

I don't have much to do ingame other than wrap up my last couple crafts. I'm gonna slave away at this as much as I can but it'll probably be a while for me too due to extra work and moving and shit. I think Grey said he got an alex for FATE grinding in Mor Dhona, how long did it take? Or anyone else have experience grinding at that already?

In 75 days you could memorize every mechanic for turns 6-9 on whatever job you like and probably teach them to 7 other scrubs as well. Turn 8 is waiting for you.

That's true too. I'm still going to be working on it as much as I can just so I'm done with it. iirc that chart from Famitsu showed we had 1 or 2 more upgrades after this Novus so it'll pass High Allagan. I doubt we'll be waiting 3 months until the whole quest ends so I think these will be BiS after the next upgrade if they follow the 10 ilvl jumps

With the work required Relics better at some point be true ilvl BiS. Its not like doing this quest like will make sense for more then one job. (2 for the super sick fuckers)

75 day grind doesn't seem bad at all. Get Map > Kill Mob > Get Alex > Meld? Between the Map quest and random Myth from doing runs its probably more like a 60 day casual grind. I'm almost motivated to speed up my last 3 books.

yeah, random runs plus capping soldiery weekly if you Bray spam and such doesn't make it back. It's something that can be done very casually

Try looking on the sphere or somethin for exactly which stat you have to increase. From reading all of Rata's it seems like it's requiring him to focus on a single stat for now on T1 materias

Haven't people been saying that infusing the second tier 1 materia drops to a 94% success rate? I just got my second alexandrite and my % is still 100%.

No, because you keep the alex when you fail.
