Now we can start to see the progression difference between determination materia and other non-piety materias since it's one point regardless of materia tier. If materias #32 to #44 for non-det/non-piety materias are all tier 4, that would be funny but not surprising.

If they all follow the same path as determination, and assuming its all the same percentage, then you can expect 25%'ish per materia tier.

I know this didn't work for the previous tier, but I'm curious if you had 2 Alex and used a T2 if it would give you 2 infusion for 1 materia.

If they had let us start the grind earlier... it would have been one thing.

It's CT all over again, by the time we get it, it will be outdated.

By the time I get a Novus, i'll likely have HA assuming we're not working on coil 3 i130 gear by then.

I'm as far as I am because I haven't slept since the patch hit (well, besides during downtime). I can't keep this pace up, I go back to work next week.

you need 16 Brayflox run for 1 map

So 16 X8 (average i know there are 6min runs)
about 2h08 minutes for 1 map

+maybe 10-15min to find + kill mob

lets say about 2h15 total for 1 alex


I wonder if it would be better to hope and just fate grind

The whole dumb thing about this is they made us wait so long now its just easier to use a sand and get a 110 weapon that way. I think the quest would of been fine if it came out the at the same time everything else in 2.2 is. Now its wait like 2 months or waste my sand on a weapon when I rather be getting gear with it.

I'm just super sad because I recently went on a materia murder spree about 2 weeks ago and combined it all in the hopes to get crafting/gathering stuff :/

Held onto it all since retail, tkaing up so much room... Would have been amazing to have an hint at saving materia (had about 200 pieces of random everything). some weird voice told me to keep the parry/STR/VIT ones though (I'm main PLD). so at least all hope is not lost.
