No I can look at that easy,

I meant like how much Tier 1 Accuracy / Tier 2 Accuracy / Tier 3 Accuracy / Tier 4 Accuracy is needed to reach the main stat cap on it (will also allow me to calc how much parry I need for it too)

for anything other than curtana and shield, which are the 75 alex ones, it goes like this:
first 11 for tier 1
12th to 22nd for tier 2
22nd onwards tier 3
unsure when tier 4 starts

maybe u can scale down for curtana from above calculation

im doing 25 acc 25 parry 25 determination so i dont need any IVs to tell when tier 4 starts....

also im not sure how people get 4 alex AN HOUR as mentioned here since the fastest you can get from brayflox is 1 alex every 1 hr to 1 hr 10 mins, 4 mins per run average.

i was only devoting 70% of time on alex since patch and is on 52nd now, but i got friendlist peeps with 86 and 70 respectively as stated in their comment. they do 100 brayflox run a day no fates.

Fates is too random. i got 1 in first 13 fates, 2nd after 1 day, 3rd after 2 days and still nothing since then (been 4 days). i only do fates between waiting for pug bray PT to fill, im sure someone got better story to tell regarding FATES like 10 alex a day idk

also people for ranting "didnt SE say no mytho will be involved for novus"? im sure they ONLY made them drop from FATES initially and cant think of better idea before 2.3 content comes in, and just make mytho come back to use

be grateful for brayflox really...... even tho it really is as boring as fuck now...

once 2.3 comes in im pretty sure we can get 2-3 alex a day casually. and like someone mentioned here, before 2.4 u should have enough for 2 novus. so no need to throw a fit now

I took a closer look at the parchment. It looks like a wheel that must be activated. As I increase my DET there a bright yellow form that goes in one direction. So I'm wondering if it means we'll have access to other secondary stats if we put 2 stats at their max. Did SE say something about it?

I think the glow is just to show the stat spreads at a glance. I didn't think to look at mine before turning in my Shield scroll and regret it. I know when I finished Parry there was a very clear line going to the NW corner, but didn't look to see if ACC spread it out.

I'm not very far along on mine (15/75 infusions), but when the glow pulses on my scroll there are two slight bumps in an otherwise circular pattern, one toward Determination and one toward some word I can't quite read but the stat is Critical Hit Rate. I'm assuming if/when I start adding Spell Speed it'll develop a third projection in that direction as well.

This is why I have saved every VIT I've gotten while SBing for Novus.

Oh and finished Shield, 3/53 on Sword Now.

Just finished my Curtana so I took some screenshots of the glow and scroll.





I only needed 7 tier IV battledance materia to finish my sword so it wasn't too pricey. Maybe spent around 300k or so on materia with failures but I'm leaving the shield to the daily quest because I'm not grinding out myth for 22 more maps for something that's not really an upgrade for me.

Lots and lots of Brayflox speedruns. Out of the 53 Alex I needed for my sword I only got 3 from FATEs (I never saw a drop again after Tuesday this week), 11 maps from the daily quest, and the rest I bought with myth.

what's your reasoning for not just capping Parry at 31? and do 22 Acc 31 Parry? That first sword posted was the same way too, 23 acc 30 parry. was wondering.

Basically 23 acc is just enough to have 505 acc with BiS stuff and it's also the same amount of acc that the High Allagan Blade has. This gives just enough acc to be able to hit the acc cap for t8 and 9 with food while leaving the rest to parry.

BiS always depends upon your weapon, you can cap acc (which will be better in the long haul when Coil 3 comes out) and use different gear to get more parry. But that's just my opinion.

Given my Coil ability won't ever progress beyond PF and pick-ups, I'm not totally crazy for thinking about doing acc/det, right? I haven't even look at the sword scroll yet, I'm just piling up my alex.

For Paladin I think the Animus glow is prettier than Novus.....wish I can glamour it back to Animus when I finish...

Yeah it's pretty underwhelming. I had a friend with Animus come stand nearby and I had a really hard time telling the difference beyond a change in color tint.

If it involves 20k myth, at least it isn't 60 or whatever this was. Worst part, I have to go back and help my friend who is 60/75 for his Sphairai. Kill me now!
