So I didn't notice the translucent hexagons from the pics until I got my own shield. Kinda like the effects of protect, and they slowly floats upwards.

for those that have yours finished is there a different pattern in your glow aside from the color change?

Still like the glow of animus better, but I guess the hexagons are a minor plus. Maybe in the end we can pick what color we want our weapons to glow (can hope)

went the 9 Acc 13 Parry route, broke 2 tier I, and 2 tier II, not too bad, all tier IIIs & IVs are self-sb. Didn't do much brayflox unless it's from the daily experts. 3 Alex from FATEs. Collected 22 Alex then did the whole thing in one session. I think I will slow it down even more for the sword part.

So this is probably a stupid question. Is there any weird shit with fates dropping Alex? Like should I not have both Curtana and Holy Shield equip or something, because I haven't gotten an Alex drop in days.

There's a bug where if you upgraded your sword to Novus (but not shield), FATEs stop dropping Alex, but that doesn't sound like your problem. Probably just ol' RNG.

Yea I think I did fates relatively active, I would say, but really I got one the first day, another one the 2nd day, then I think my 3rd on the 5th or 6th, not one since then but I've also slowed down on fate by then, seeing the rate I would say brayflox spam if you could stand it (I couldn't do much after animus), so just do your Roulette Experts, and gather mytho at your own pace, whether you want to fate or not it's up to you. I wouldn't say it's worth it though...

Currently 0/283 since I started counting (and yes, this is only from completed, gold fates using Animus, no fates counted from other bullshit here) on any Alexandrite from FATEs.

So good, so so good. Loving every second of it. Also getting shit luck on materia. SBed about 8-9 full sets so far, 1 savage might IV.

Doesn't, but I'm trying to avoid spending 10m+ on materia so it gives me an excuse to SB. Also at this point it's just the principal of it. Need to get at least 1.

Nothing stopping you from SBing in Bray, just load up on job-appropriate jewelery, can't imagine it would slow down any competent group to any significant degree.

SBing from FATEs generally sucks pretty bad anyways, mobs levels are low and you only get credit from mobs you damage enough to have gotten exp credit from (and boss FATEs are obv worthless for SB).

Very slow rate if any at all without +++ binding stuff. CT or bust, you can just go as tank do all the trash up to bone dragon and get about 10% if you slap materia and use ++binding stuff. Leave repeat.

That's like the worst idea. Not only is there no chance to get any myth or alex from it, it's horrendously slower than just going to any of my 5 preferred SB spots.
