Gonna be i115 no way they release i120 before new coil
Unless they go atma type, i120 weapon with gimped stats

That's the point of mythics. Let me put it this way : you have a main job that you prefer to play over every other jobs, you want the best for it, you'll want to have Novus and if you find a good group the ilvl115 weapon from SCOB.
Now in your group, you'll probably have to fill different spot healer, dps or tank, you still want to be useful and do things decently, you have the option to get those jobs a mythic to help close the gap.
I think Yoshi said there's no intention to upgrade the mythics while the relics could be upgraded in future patches.
Calling i115, regardless will make HA a glamour piece, novus will just be a minor upgrade and allow you to add weapon damage and the stat build will be proportionate to how much you maximized your materia stats. ie. you maxed det, you'll keep max det, etc.
While it might be far fetched. I think it would be cool if they just let us add more Alex/stats.
44crit,31det at i110
i115 allows a 3rd stat
10bux says it's strictly cosmetic and lays the groundwork for the stat increase in 2.4 a la Atma weapon.
inb4 it lets you change the color of the glow to your preference, and then damage is upped in 2.4.
Ungh. i still have 0 atma. I have put in about 2-3 hours here and there.
It just feels so unproductive.
Ive been lvling alt jobs in the meantime. Even that at least I get something from it.
I also came back a month ago and was able to get UAT and then Burtgang on my PLD.
I like my pld as main, and want a novus. But the time sink. And then Im not a millionaire. I usually have 500-900k on me.
I see those materias for perfect melds being 500k+ a pop.
I've started spiritbonding. 600k for T4 Determination materia is just insane.
I consider myself rich, have a little over 26mil. Even I was cringing when I did t4 crit/determination.
How are the average players paying for this lol?
Probably by only doing partial crit/det mixed in with other stats.
Came back recently( I quit during 2.0), I just got Animus for war, going to start working on Novus, is there any reason to not do deter/crit for war Novus? Anything better at all ?
With the amount of Novuses I see around? I feel like they're just doing it reeeeeeeeeally slowwwwwwwwwwly (or not at all).
Out of my coil static:
• 1 Completed Novus, and 14 Alex away from a 2nd. (me)
• 2 Have the required Alex to complete their Novus, but are cockblocked for monetary reasons.
• 4 Completed Animus, no indication of concentrated effort toward getting Alex.
• 1 5/9 books into Animus, with no indication of concentrated effort toward completion.
We haven't had any concentrated effort on T9, so it's not like we're rolling in superior weapons or anything.
For WAR, do whatever feels like it'll fit you best. ~20acc allowed me to set up my gear how I liked, so I maxed Det and put 22 acc on it; I spent the rest of my points on Parry, hate if you like. Crit/Det is certainly a good option if you don't find yourself lacking in the accuracy department though.
I've just been doing the BRD weapon very slowly; with the 110 Rosenbogen, there just isn't much incentive to crank on it right now. I am on book #8, but I've been spiritbinding in my free time since the last patch; it's pretty fast now. I craft 3-4 full sets of i45-49 HQ gear and can SB 1-2 full sets doing the 100 mobs / 3 FATEs portion of the books. I have a spreadsheet at home with all my materia for every item converted since 8/22; I've had pretty good luck on T4's (~15% across ~40 attempts; several Savage Mights).
Just finished my Gae Bolg Novus the other day, and ended up doing 31DET/30CRIT/14ACC. RNGeesus was with me, as I didn't bust a single DET IV materia. I didn't have the cash to go full CRIT, so just stopped after capping on III, then finished it with cheapie ACC. Total cost - just over 4M.
Like others have said, as much DET/CRIT as you can afford/justify. I ended up at 31DET/33CRIT/11 ACC, I was basically out of gil when I hit the 31 DET and decided I just wanted it done. The acc is handy though, we've literally just started second coil (beat T6 last week) and I was packing 475 Acc before I got my HA head, which is totally on the mark after food.Came back recently( I quit during 2.0), I just got Animus for war, going to start working on Novus, is there any reason to not do deter/crit for war Novus? Is it safe to assume that the next augment will put the weapon at level 120?
Much more likely 115.
