WELP! Thank god i completed that (if only it was real ; ; ) but for real, we'll prolly not see the i115 nexus til we're extremely close to 2.4, just to not make HA obsolete.

HA is obselete as soon as 2.38 comes. if you havent clear turn 9 by now, it doesnt matter if SE give you a nexus 115 weapon or a HA weapon via mog delivery

this is just 1 way for the other playerbase to get a 115 weapon and clear turn 9 if they havent done so, and also for peeps who got fucked hard w/o seeing the HA weapon they need for months

it takes 2-3 weeks each or so to complete the 9 books and 75 alex for ilevel 10 upgrade(before hunts) so this one prolly takes 1/2 the time?

also it says you can only "progress" in a certain period of time makes me happy cos it sounds like i can do all my 4 novus at once

it now seems like zodiac will be ilvl 10 increment between major patches and then a ilvl5 jump just before main raid tiers goes obselete

awesome sauce :D cos now i dont have to worry anymore about RNG fucking me up before the end of that raid cycle

I find it hilarious how people are jumping to conclusions based on just this:

- Saga of the Zodiac Weapons

NPC: Jalzahn
Players must first complete the quest "Star Light, Star Bright."

Once your relic weapon novus has been soulglazed by Jalzahn, complete certain activities with the weapon equipped to increase its soul attunement level. By presenting a fully attuned weapon to Jalzahn, you will be rewarded with a relic weapon nexus of item level 115 that retains all the upgrades made to the original relic weapon novus.

A weapon’s soul attunement level will rise by a set amount determined by the activity being performed. This amount, however, may increase each time a certain period of time passes. Thus sharing information with other players will be invaluable in planning the most efficient method of attunement.
Attunement progress can be verified through the use of the Zodiac glass.

One you have completed the quest “Mmmmmm, Soulglazed Relics,” you will be able to alter the materia-enhanced properties of your relic weapon novus or relic weapon nexus. Prepare a new sphere scroll of the correct type to receive the power of your chosen relic weapon, then use materia and alexandrite to redo the infusion process.
* The materia-enhanced properties of a relic weapon nexus will be transferred to a sphere scroll after being adjusted to item level 110 values.

progress is just going to depend on how many FATES, dungeons, raids, mob hunt, leves you do in the interval

just you watch!!! 99 leves = 1%

I'll be happy if it involves hunt seals, I have a large stack unspent. SE wouldn't make it that easy though, they want you grinding until 2.4. Likewise with those saying primals. Expect something incredibly boring and time consuming and nothing less, it's a recurring theme of recent patches.

With all the crying about Personal Housing, i'd love for the new Nexus to be done via hunts.

edit: friend on aegis said its a "spiritbond" thing where you can gain progress via anything except hunts. eg. maps/dungeons/fates

Doesn't really say. The quest basically says "do adventuring and stuff", it's pretty vague about it.

Completed a FATE, "Bravura Novus emits a feeble light." Nothing useful in Zodiac at the moment whatsoever.
