i will be on tonight/this morning, BE READY TO DARK SOULS. I'm at the fog part. I decided to pump INT; lightning is good damage, but once i get a better staff (preferably the combo one so i can cast everything with it), i will teabag the masses with all sorts of awesome shit. Alternatively, i may ditch lightning altogether and dump the points in faith i have, for attunement and INT. thoughts?
Also, pyromancy is about as useful as a cock-flavored lollipop, shut up kuya.
That post made me want to stab something.
Pyromancy is fucking great. I'm guessing you didn't upgrade your pyro glove or aren't casting good spells.
That said, either going for a focused INT build or doing hexes would be your best bet. Its like I told you before.. if you're not casting hexes you don't need both fth and int.
Right now for PVE I'm running Sacred Oath/Great Magic Barrier (may swap for magic barrier for PvE)/Sunlight Blade/Sunlight Spear.
Not sure what my PVP spell set is gonna look like or even my gear 'cause I do plan to make some changes though I'm not quite sure what I want to change... yet.
I am casting hexes as well, so should i keep them somewhat even? I would talk to you in chat but at work, dat shit dun work. also, greater resonant soul = rofl
If you are casting hexes you need it. Hex damage scales on the lower of INT/FTH up to 30 of both.
Your typical Hex build is 30/30/30 ATT/INT/FTH.
Don't really need more than that in any of them.
I really wana keep hexes because between... that one hex that hacks people that get close, and GRS, it's a 1-2 hit party.
ATT/INT/FTH are all 30 (as you know, my int and att are both ~43), what should i start putting point in? i do own a rapier now, lol, and while i'm not a fan of the CLEARLY single-target damage due to lack of any sort of sweeping blows, 1v1, this thing eats niggas up.
Experiment. Find what you like, there's no real "should" after getting those points. Find weapons/armor types that you enjoy using and put stats in to make them more effective.
are there people that dont touch hp/vit stats whatsoever? i seem to be doing well with no actual hp to speak of, although i'm probbly making the game harder than it already is, lol
If you're just going through the game do whatever you want. If you want to pvp then you need some VGR
Speaking of PVP, this build has a 100% win rate so far... even when the odds are stacked against me like with ratbros.
(Although all the water actually hurts them more than it does me 'cause of all this lightnin I'm tossin)
OH. so that room when youtalk to dude with the blue sword, then hit the switch to unleash the 6 skeletons and the basilisk? lmao, that hex shotgun made QUICK work of that room, glad i bought it. Also, remember that spell i was so mad about, the magic barrage thing? Went to help people with the giant fire demon in the lava, BOY HAVE MERCY, it ate him up.
Haha, yeah I bet it tears up big targets that don't move much.
Looks beastly for that one specific thing.
nerds
yeah, if i let something get that close to me to whip up my hp, my dodge game needs work. cool, im not the only one
Finally encountered a really tough ratbro, even after I took out his mobs he was still going toe to toe.
I ended up having to aim my spears down at my feet when he would roll forward. The AoE shock would poise break and I could get a rapier hit in.
Eventually got him to try to flask up... hit him with the bow of want, woop.
That bow is seriously strong for PVP btw. Usually takes about 1/4-1/3 of people's health so I switch to it when I expect a flask and I'm not close. Gets em every time.
I love the bow 'cause it one shots those toxic dogs too.
Even when the host used bonfire ascetics.
