I tested Dark Sanctum Crossbow+6 (since I'm out of chunks lel) on one of those polearm fags right by McDuff's workshop in NG and did about 800 damage with it.

I'm not wearing anything that would increase the damage of it either, actually I don't even know if stuff like the abyss seal even would but it doesn't matter.
Also, this character isn't a hexer but is built like one so I do take advantage of the dark scaling 'cause I'm 30/30 (Pyro)

Is not the ammo that does that much, you can have absolutely no ammo in it.
Its a "special attack" from the weapon. (which takes a shitton of durability btw)
