For the first time? What backwater place you livin' in buddy?
Miami doesn't have a lot of fast food chains that exist in the mid west or the north. We just recently started getting Chik-Fil-A's and Popeye's down here and they are usually far from where I live. Hell, the closest Waffle House is an hour away.
i dont think ive ever even seen a popeyes
seen their fucking commercials though, makin me hungry at like 4 am
The rest of America might be better then. Seriously, we just done have a lot of the stuff the rest of the country has down here. It makes no sense sometimes. You'd think Miami would be prime target number one for a lot of these franchises.
had popeye's once and the food coma was insane, never been put to sleep so fierce as that
Popeye's is awesome. When we were very young we'd go visit my family in Silver Spring, MD. They would always want to go to Potomac Mills and they had a Popeye's at the food court. I was thrilled when a few of them made it to Pittsburgh. I had some a couple months ago and about twenty minutes later had to shit my guts out![]()
I still claim it was because my wife didn't get us the spicy chicken and she went with original shit.
haha sounds like maybe something i should avoid
their food looks fucking delicious though not gonna lie. i mean, i know all commercials doll up their fake food for commercials, but something about popeyes' sticks out. and we don't have any nearby that im aware of.
edit: FUCK i just looked, nearest are either in the Twin Cities (like 2 hour drive) or Waterloo, but Waterloo is in Iowa so fuck that noise. Mebbe next time my friends and i go to renaissance festival we can get some popeyes.
Not if you're a balla.

Hilariously enough, it's not until I start getting close/into the shittier neighborhoods that I start seeing popeyes. I literally use one or two of them as landmarks for when I cross over from decent areas to shitty areas. It's like you need the area to be comprised of a percent of certain 'minorities' before they can exist. Levittown/Seaford/Wantaugh is too white for one, and hicksville is too indian for one.
I still need to eat at one though. Sadly the only time I really ever find myself passing one is on the way to or from the dentists, which is when eating is the last thing I want to do.
maybe if they'd get around to installing that high speed rail i could feel comfortable living further away from the mayo!
i prolly wouldn't, though. i'm poor so any housing i get is increasingly likely to be in a shitty neighborhood the larger the city gets. and im too trusting, have too many nice toys.
popeyes biscuit the truf tho
