The way you generally unsheathe and charge with that build kinda reminds me of the SPT spammer bow build on Toukiden. In this case, however, you're doing it to lower the cooldowns on your spells rather than for direct damage like with the GS and of course it doesn't require good timing on your part, really.

Gunlance, switch axe, lance are the only weapons for me. Some elemental bows too. Won't play with any ls or ds users. Hammers, GS and hh are mega bros.

GS main for life. I used to be able to do some crazy shit on Tigrex back in the day. Gotta be super patient though to be good. My alts are usually Hammer and bow. I like being support so I'm usually on top of traps and bombs. Always wanted to get into HH but never did.

I get that lance has the highest DPS but man, it's not as fun as blowing your slime load into nargacuga's face with a gunlance.

Using sleep bomb sets in multiplayer was the only reason I ever used SnS and boy was it worth. GS/Hammer/Switchaxe fo' life tho.
