You make a good point, sir. We need more games like the truly epic Golden Sun franchise. I am what you might call a connoisseur of Nihon Role-Play-Games (NRPGs) and have recently discovered this rather unknown gem called Golden Sun. I thought I would take a few moments out of my busy schedule (my Nihongo class starts soon! =D) to discuss it with like-minded sirs and ma'dams like yourself and the fine BGtachi.

This game probably has the deepest lore and most intricate plot that has ever been written for an NRPG. The characters are vibrant and believable to the point where it feels like they could reach through the screen and be here with us. In fact on a number of occasions it touched my soul in such a way that I had to put it down and catch my breath. And lest we forget the combat - an integral part of any good interactive experience - which was very deep and challenging. All of the battles, even the random encounters on the world map which are typically mundane and mindless in other games, required a real strategic mind to pull off and were utterly engrossing. A number of occasions reminded me of Tsun Zu's Art-o-War or Musashi Miyamoto-sama's Book of Five Rings.

Truly this jewel is a shiny example of what games from Nippon can be. Even the name it self - GOLDEN SUN - envokes a sense of shining brillance and glory, and harkens back to the days of old when the samurai spirit was truly alive.

I sincerely beseech anyone who has not played this gem to stop what you are doing and play it right this instance. Truly it will not disappoint. Good day and well blessings, everyone.
