Edit: Not terribly flashback heavy by the way. I'm halfway through and there's only been about 5 minutes worth of them.

Given they could have simply just ended the series there. I don't want to know how much this show costs to produce with the size of its cast.


Octavia was a hell of a bitch this season, but then again she never listened to reason on the earlier ones either when her bf got killed. Going to miss Monty though. Didn't really seem like a thing he'd do character-wise though unless his actor didn't want to return and this was the writer's means of taking him out on a good note? Granted he's tired of all the killing/sacrifices needed, so perhaps literal decades alone with his girlfriend and algae was better than risking his plan B not working out.

Just hoping the next season won't be a retread of familiar grounds with landing on the planet, getting your bearings, getting your source of food, and then encountering humans-with-makeup to have to eventually fight a war against for survival.

I stopped watching after the 2nd episode this season - I just wasn't feeling the direction they were going, it felt like a total reset, and I didn't feel like starting all over.

However, this week I binged... I was reminded why I like the show, I cant wait to see what they do next season.

I do feel that it will be Eligis IV, vs. Eligis III though... but I hope not. Sad to see Monty and his Wife gone, but at least they got their happy ending.
